Dla waiting times second thread

Hi I have now been waiting the 8 weeks, is it worth me calling? When I had called for another reason a couple weeks ago they were working on the 12th, mine was scanned the 26th. Ant one else around that date heard yet?

@Nic247 morning I’m the 23rd of July and I’m still waiting I think with such a backlog it’s taking the full 8weeks and more x

@Mummyof3boz I have not long got off the phone to them, hadn't even been looked at yet. I also sent extra reports off on the £10 (cost me £7 for recorded delivery that they said was best to get there quicker) but that hasn't even been loaded onto my case file yet. She did say they got an update yesterday and that claims are now taking 8-12 weeks so looks like I have a while yet

Didnt afew people on the last thread day they had a decision afew days after receiving the 8 week letter?

Yeah I remember a couple saying it was 7 weeks 6 days for them. I followed it that thread but didn't comment. Hopfully you hear in the next couple days, or by end of week

Im 8 weeks tomoz so currently on phone on hold to se if any update at all 🤞🏻

He said it was with the decision maker so should hear within the next week

UPDATE- finally after 15 weeks to the day my forms were scanned my daughter has been awarded mrc and lrm for four years. I could cry with relief that I can now pay for private help with her schoolwork. I am in NI and the claims seem to be taking longer here than the mainland. Does anyone know when I can hopefully expect her back dated money (the money is backdated to the 2nd of June when I filled the forms in not the 8th when they were scanned onto the system if that helps anyone)

@leslie77 aww that’s brilliant news well done u must be so relieved 😌 that’s a long way am going into week 9 and I think that’s bad enough still no decision and to scared to phone.. I’m sure I’ve heard people say it’s about 3 days after being awarded u get back payment x

@leslie77 made up for you ! If you rang up and they told you over phone it’s normally 3days after they’ve made decision that they send payment to land in your account.. @Kirstie1990 ..fingers crossed for you xx

Ive just got off the phone. Mine is with new claims decision maker. They received mine the 26th july

Seems to be hit and miss on the dates they are working on. Mines 26th July too but hasn't even been looked at yet

@Mummyof3boz mine was scanned 29th July so it’s 8 weeks on Thursday ..I rang yesterday she asked loads of questions then said no decision yet so I asked if it was with a decision maker she said I can’t see it’s been passed as yet 🙄I’m going to ring them Again Friday and just see if anything has moved along after the 8 week mark x

@Hannm123 not really schools were off for summer holidays when I filled forms but have info on who they could contact also I only had is diagnose letter and wot medication he is on so again worried it wasn’t enough he gets lots of one to one at school and his school have been brilliant with him moved him to this school 2 years ago due to bullying so I don’t think the school would have any problem giving them the exact care he needs at School. I can only hope x

@Mummyof3boz bless him , how old is he and wats he been diagnosed with if you dont mind me asking ? ..that should be more than enough then sometimes your on waiting list for ages and haven’t got any evidence x
