They recieved mine 1st october. Rang last week to be told to wait afew more weeks

I had a payment today, form was scanned 3/9/21. Expecting a letter today or tomorrow.

@Jneill2021 yours too🤞, for some reason I think it will be turned down. I'm on hold to them at the moment as I've had my sons learning plan through now and his senco has said she will write a statement (couldnt when I first claimed as in the big summer holidays) to be honest I should of waited until he was back at school but his pediatrician was kinda bugging me to do the claim and I just wanted it out of the way lol! Anyway, just want to know if theres any point in sending them in as I'm at the 8 week mark tomorrow x

Think everyone has that feeling of there claim being turnt down, I have that feeling as my boy still quite young, sometimes it's better just getting the claim in them dealing with sending the evidence after as the outcome is a long wait, hopefully they say they have already awarded it for your little one, let me no what they say , fingers crossed for you x

Hi everyone I got my backdated payment through of carers allowance today so no doubt UC will be on my back soon even though they still owe me my backdated payment :(

@Alk19 o god u only seems to want to get in contact when they want something I messaged them on my journal Monday about something and they have only just replied, have they still not sorted out your backpack? X

@Jneill2021 nope nothing there deadline is up tomorrow they'll want this carers backpay back as soon as though when there notified I just hope they don't take it all at once because they told me a payment arrangement would be put up in place for the 'overpayment' as they class it

I was wondering if it's worth phoning today, 8 weeks is up today, I phoned on Wednesday and wasn't told anything. Just don't want to have waited all this time for a no 😥

Gave up on the phone yesterday after being on hold for a hour and a half. Just rung and a lovely man answered and said it's with the decision maker now so I'm looking at a decision at any moment so there isnt any point in sending in more information. Oh and it was 8 weeks for me on tuesday apperently, I just went by the date I recieved a text of them so I thought it would be 8 weeks today. X

@Lozca93 it won't hurt to phone even if they say it's with decision maker don't usually take long after that xx

Thank you, on the phone waiting for them to answer lol got a letter yesterday dated the 4th saying I wouldn't loose any money and it shouldn't be long now for a decision

@Jneill2021 so there deadline that I was told at is today rung up this morning now there saying the same again no timeframe and that there's nothing on system saying the 12th when 2 advisors told me in October there was honestly it's getting worse

@Alk19 yeah I'm dreading getting 5he backdate from carers and uc taking the whole lot off me in one go!

@Alk19 that's disgusting, I would ring everyday and kick up a fuss sometimes I think it's the only way to get anywhere xx

@Ltb17 I got mine yesterday and should get my statement tomorrow from UC I'm dreading it but I've not even had the letter from carers allowance yet so can't ring and set up an arrangement x
