Hi the first thread ended because when it reaches a 1000 comments it will close I thought I would set this up so everyone can talk again

OP posts:
Alk19 · 20/10/2021 13:29

@LKKT I sent his salt report and paediatric report with some diagnoses on it development delay pica hypermobility but no official diagnoses of his autism and my health visitor wrote in the supportive section x

Alk19 · 20/10/2021 13:30

@Mummy2boys1520
It's honestly a joke I can't beileve it either closing in on 10 weeks I've rung up so many times x

Mummy2boys1520 · 20/10/2021 13:32

@Alk19 Mine coming up to 9 weeks now it's an absolute joke when even in there website it tells us we are entitled to the back date so why it has to go to the DM I'll never know

Alk19 · 20/10/2021 13:39

@Mummy2boys1520 really does it? I've never seen that but yeah I completely agree I give up with them haha x

Mummy2boys1520 · 20/10/2021 13:41

Yeah it say as long as you tell them a month after receiving your decision from the DLA your entitled to the backdate someone on here showed me because when I first requested it they tried telling me I told them to late and I would most like not receive it and she then sent it me to see. It's stupid it really is

Mummy2boys1520 · 20/10/2021 13:41

So was meant to tag you in the last post @Alk19

Alk19 · 20/10/2021 13:45

@Mummy2boys1520 oh well I told them 2 days letter as was awarded on a Saturday they've no excuses I hope we both hear soon x

Mummy2boys1520 · 20/10/2021 14:03

@Alk19 I literally told them the day I was awarded but I think the people who tell us things make there own story's on how the system works it's just like waiting on the DLA decision all over again

Alk19 · 20/10/2021 14:38

@Mummy2boys1520

Escalation of Mandatory reconsideration received, allocated to Decision Makers today, decision to be looked at within 2 working days

That's the message I've just received on my journal.. it's not even a mandatory reconsideration as it's not even been looked at yet to make a decision :(

Mummy2boys1520 · 20/10/2021 14:55

@Alk19 that's what I mean I generally don't think any of them know what they are talking about I would reply back going what are you talking about

Ltb17 · 21/10/2021 08:34

My forms were scanned on 13th August. I received a text this morning to say my son has been awarded.

Mummy2boys1520 · 21/10/2021 09:01

@Alk19 hey I had a letter this morning on my universal credit saying that the decision maker has agreed and that they will adjust my payments to the 28th June when I first sent the calm but they haven't said when it will be back dated but I'm guessing I'll receive that soon I'm hoping but hopefully that means you have to

Alk19 · 21/10/2021 09:29

@Mummy2boys1520 aww finally!! That's good they normally do same day payments so hopefully be Witt you soon I'm still waiting unfortunately:(

Mummy2boys1520 · 21/10/2021 09:33

@Alk19 they just uploaded a letter saying that the decision maker agrees with why I told them late which I didn't I told them the same day I was told, and that it will back dated to 28 June but hasn't said how much or when I'll receive it so I'm hoping I'll hear today. I can't believe you haven't heard especially when yours was escalated as well hopefully you hear today

Lrc11 · 21/10/2021 09:53

@ltb17 that's great news. I'm still waiting and I'm the 6th August. Suppose it's just luck of the draw x

Lrc11 · 21/10/2021 11:09

@ltb17 did your text tell you what rate you had received? X

Mummy2boys1520 · 21/10/2021 11:14

@Alk19 just spoke to them on the phone it's now gone to my case manager to get it calculated then I should receive another letter but they didn't say time frame

Ltb17 · 21/10/2021 11:27

@Lrc11 no it didn't, just that he's been awarded and they have sent me a letter and not to contact them in the mean time. Not sure why they can't just say in the text really. Hopefully you aren't waiting too much longer. I'm guessing the decision makers just get piles of claims dumped on them and it's pot luck which date they do.

Kyra08 · 21/10/2021 12:22

Is anyone waiting for a renewal ? 12 weeks since it’s been scanned , claim due to end in 3 weeks 😩

Alk19 · 21/10/2021 12:31

@Mummy2boys1520 That's get eat news should only be a couple of days my claim started 21st may for dla I have a feeling there going to tell me no haha

Mummy2boys1520 · 21/10/2021 12:36

@Alk19 yeah they put a message on my journal just saying should be within a couple of days. I can't see what they are doing with you as you did the same told them as soon as you was told and they are dragging there feet I'd call them again

Alk19 · 21/10/2021 12:43

@Mummy2boys1520 I have to give them till 6pm today as the message says in my journal then I'll be back on the phone first thing in the morning haha x

Jneill2021 · 21/10/2021 13:49

Alk19 · 21/10/2021 14:03

Mummy2boys1520 · 21/10/2021 14:12
