@Alk19 hey just wounding if you heard back from the decision maker regarding you backdate I'm having a nightmare with them been over a month now

No I haven't unfortunately mines been 6 weeks and I've already recieved a payment with all the elements added on no news on backdate and I wrote to them other day they told me there's no time frame

@Alk19 yeah that's the same as me all I got was the lady saying how longs a piece of string it like why does it even have to go to a decision maker in the first place

There awful to speak to UC honestly my friends was all sorted within 2 weeks and her carers was quick aswell guarantee they'll be quick to take my backdated carers of me though

@Alk19 that's what it is it's because they owe us but it just doesn't make sense why they have to send it to them in the first place when they know we can change anything till we get a decision

Exactly that's what I said if I'd of put this change in before I got my dla award they would of asked for proof which I wouldn't of had but now I have got proof there taking forever to decide it's never ending

@Alk19 hopefully it's not to long I was a week after you but even then they didn't put in with my next payment I haven't had any yet I've had a payment since

Can someone answer a question for me for a friend ..if her sons dla is up for renewal and they decide to add the mobility element on it this time is it backdated or is it from the date it’s decided ? Thanks x

It's 9 weeks today and rang up this morning and have been awarded on the 23rd September so they said money should be in my bank by Wednesday, good luck everyone and those rejected appeal xx

Nothing as of yet, no decision has been made he said i need to be more patient…. 🙄

@Kirstie1990 that was a bit cheeky of him. It is hard to be patient when there is no consistency in what people are people are being told regarding waiting times and you see people who claimed after you being notified of decisions.

Yeah that was exactly my thoughts too, im just going to give it a few more days i think x

@Kirstie1990 ring again Wednesday, they don’t keep track on when you last rang and I doubt you’ll get the same person again. Baffles me how some of these actually get jobs with speaking to people over the phone, their attitudes stink!

Their attitudes do stink ..anyone would think they dock their wages for being polite to people x

Mine was scanned 23rd July and still awaiting a decision, seen on here people scanned after me have their decision already, I called today and the lady I spoke to was lovely, she checked and went into a further check for me and just said I should hear soon, did anyone receive their refusal by text or just letter? X
