@Mummyof3boz well done! So pleased for you. Mine obviously fell on a moody DM to get declined 😂 unfortunately the nursery senco won’t write a letter for me she states that what she put before was enough ( 5 lines obviously isn’t ) so seems the MR is out the window with no added evidence to give.

That’s not true, don’t be disheartened. You got this 💪🏼
In your letter to DWP draw back to what the SENCO said if it’s valuable. DLA is not dependent on evidence don’t let them put you off.

@Mummyof3boz hopefully I have an answer soon then as we are the same date, I called today again and they said it’s still with the DM and can be taking up to 12weeks, just want to know if it’s a yes or no. So pleased for you though for getting the answer you wanted x

27th july hun, i sent evidence from school senco, hospital diagnosis, letter from school outlining his needs and obvs went into detail about his needs at home but theyre some mommys whos sent alot more evidence and been declined x

@Kirstie1990 I honestly think it’s whoever’s deal it lands on ..cos when I read people circumstances it’s like hit n miss how they work it owt ..hopefully i think you should defo hear something today if not Monday x

@Kirstie1990 try and stay positive I know it’s hard as I was the same I think wot @Hannm123 is saying is true unfortunately it’s who’s desk it lands on if it helps I didn’t send any evidence just his diagnosis and the list of help he gets at school and home needs by the sounds of it they didn’t even contact the school they have just went of my info on form I was new to all this so didn’t really know I will know for next time tho and wot kind of things u need to send I was still awarded for my son LRC LRM I could possible go for MRC but al be grateful it got awarded and by the renewal I will have as much evidence as I can get.. fingers crossed for uz ladies as I know the wait is agonizing 🙄🤞x

Does anyone know if they always contact the school? My sons school isn't very supportive and I'm worried it could affect the claim

@mumto4boys16 think it just depends I put my sons school down for someone u know part but doesn’t seem like they contacted them and my sons school r more than helpful

Has anyone heard anything today?

Not posted on here, but have followed previous thread. I got an acknowledgement of them receiving the form on 26 July. Got the text 2 days ago to say DS qualifies. Rang them yesterday and found it it was middle rate care and low rate mobility which I am very happy with.
So the timescale for us was 8 weeks and 2 days. I hope that's helpful for people waiting
