Steampunk pirate/captain with 1800 Russian/other military vibes.

Though I'd want to avoid my child being turned away from the event on the day - so either contact event organisers and check or like you're already trying find something more acceptable to you both and avoid entire potential problem.

Right, just spoke to her and she says it has a bit of a Nazi tone. Also, my thought of it being an agents of shield bad guy, well they are Nazis, so there we go.

Yeah it does have a very SS 'look' too it and could come back to bite him in the future if someone unaware of warhammer comes across it.

It's a character from warhammer (only know because I looked it up) no idea what the role of this character is good/bad.

Given the character’s name is very similar to a senior nazi officer, I think I’d give that a wide berth.

It's not a Nazi uniform. It's grey with a red lining, so that's wrong for a start.

I also thought Nazi on first viewing (reading with amusement the comments "It's not Nazi because...." - I think most of us know it's not a detailed reproduction of a Nazi uniform! It just gives off that vibe)

I think there's little point in asking Mumsnet because, barring a few exceptions as we've seen here, we are not the target audience and most of us will not get it.

I am not sure why people would think it looked like a Nazi uniform. Nazi uniforms did not have frogging. They weren't into coats with red lapels and red linings or red sashes either. And as far as I can tell there is no skull, oak leaves or swastika motif included on the costume..
