And it's not a boxroom or a 3rd bedroom - it's the only one!

There seems to be 2 bedrooms? Or am I on the wrong link

peanutbutter00 · 24/08/2021 20:28

But both very small yes!

DuesToTheDirt · 24/08/2021 20:29

Oh you're right, it is described as one bedroom, but there are kind of two. I was looking at the downstairs one, but I'm not sure the loft is much better!

There is a loft.
You are obviously looking at The Borrowers cabin...

BentBastard · 24/08/2021 20:29

Loft room probably doesn't have building requirements to be called a bedroom. Both tiny thigh.

CarryOnNurse20 · 24/08/2021 20:30

Wow. I think labelling one of them as a bedroom is really stretching the definition!

NewLifePending · 24/08/2021 20:30

I’m seeing two too?
The pictures look an odd, narrow angle?

DuesToTheDirt · 24/08/2021 20:30

Perhaps the loft isn't allowed to be counted as a bedroom because of the stair. Or maybe the downstairs one isn't allowed to be counted as a bedroom as it isn't really big enough for a bed...

Is it a garage conversion? I don't think I have ever seen something so tiny for sale outside London. £155K!!!

Hellocatshome · 24/08/2021 20:31

Looks like someone has divided a bungalow into more than one household. Even the living room is very small.

Twickerhun · 24/08/2021 20:31

The loft presumably doesn’t have building regs signed off. Looks like the loft room is a fire hazard. That downstairs bed room looks like it’s modelled on a static caravan

user1471530109 · 24/08/2021 20:31

That's a very weird floorplan! The bedroom seems to have been made from the shower room or vice versa?

Howmanysleepsnow · 24/08/2021 20:32

Looks like it’s the corridor between the lounge and the bathroom, but they’ve shoehorned a bed in there. Even the estate agent can’t bring themselves to call it a bedroom Grin

GreenNotebook · 24/08/2021 20:32

Yep. A friend lived in a place that could accommodate a bunk bed, room to get down from the bunk bed and nothing else at all. It was her daughters room. And honestly this thread comes across as sneary.

AppleKatie · 24/08/2021 20:33

That tiny bed must be custom. Bedroom the same size as the shower room. Shock

TrampolineForMrKite · 24/08/2021 20:33

Friends in London had a third bedroom that was smaller than that. You couldn’t fit a cot in it even. We called it The Red Room forever after as when they moved in it was painted blood red. It did at least have two other usable bedrooms in it though.

For less than £200k though, bargain!

Hen2018 · 24/08/2021 20:34

My sons’ room is 9 feet x 5.5.

It contains their 7 feet long bunk bed.

They’ve survived without incident here for 18 years.

Embracelife · 24/08/2021 20:37

Photo 1 is misleading. It s carved out of the garage /annex
A tiny studio

caringcarer · 24/08/2021 20:37

The downstairs room is surely un-useable. The loft room tiny. It will be very hard to sell.

Embracelife · 24/08/2021 20:37

It s photo 7

megletthesecond · 24/08/2021 20:38

It's tiny.
Although dd's old room wouldn't fit a single bed (she had an ikea toddler bed) so it was pretty similar. Whole estate was the same.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 24/08/2021 20:39

It reminds me of my bedroom when I was 1-3. It was the converted boiler cupboard.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 24/08/2021 20:39

Crikey. I live in Devon and we paid £30k more for our house but have 2 double bedrooms, a generous box, a utility room and a garden.... why is Kenilworth so expensive?!

crazyguineapiglady · 24/08/2021 20:44

The bedroom is 120cm wide! Surely not legal?

Knittedfairies · 24/08/2021 20:46

Is the loft room access by ladder?
