Ear infection that's so bad you're oozing pus and it's eating through to the bone.

Also. Standing on Lego.

Acute cystitis is the worst pain I’ve personally ever felt. I’ve had it to the point of pissing blood a few times and I would honestly rather give birth again than go through that.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 19/08/2021 19:18

Gallstones! But sorry you are in such pain op! When can you get to the dentist. I think pain like toothache calls for codeine or at least co-codamol. Can you get some?

PurpleVerbena · 19/08/2021 19:18

Pain from a cyst in your breast that feels like a thousand hot needles piercing your skin every time you move.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 19/08/2021 19:19

Absolutely. Fellow sufferer ready to cut my head off. There is nothing worse.

LuluJakey1 · 19/08/2021 19:19

Acute Pancreatitis - it is unbelievable, much much worse than giving birth.

Nichola2310 · 19/08/2021 19:19

Sciatica!!

Bone tumor

Infected episiotomy site with a 4cm haematoma. That was bad. Once they did the revision and the spinal wore off I was on the floor howling. I have never known pain like it. Makes the impacted wisdom tooth and absess seem like a stubbed toe level of pain.

I just said to DH "it's like I stood on a plug" ConfusedSad

I thought toothache was the worst until I got Quinsy. It was like toothache, earache, tonsillitis and migraine combined - plus you get lockjaw and cannot swallow so sit drooling like a rabid fox. I actually passed out from the pain, which has never happened to me before.

My SIL argues that her severe kidney infection was worse, pain-wise. To be fair it sounded horrendous and she was ill for weeks.

Toothache is fucking horrible though OP. Take as many painkillers as you can and apply some clove oil until you can see a dentist x

SouthOfFrance · 19/08/2021 19:23

I've heard Cluster Headaches (I think it's that type) are absolutely excruciating.

ThePersonFromPorlock · 19/08/2021 19:24

I wish I could make you feel better, but last time I had toothache I would have happily let someone saw my whole head off.

Ectopic pregnancy was worse though.

MeredithGreyishblue · 19/08/2021 19:25

Having my cervix manually turned!

Bit on a day to day basis, no. My sympathy. Load up on painkillers.

sleepykits · 19/08/2021 19:25

It's fine fora few days and then I bite on it and ooohhhh the pain. Even my ear hurts. I had to sign up with a private dentist, appointment 4th September 😩

Forceps birth is the worst pain I've ever felt, followed by a collapsed lung. Tooth ache is brutal though, nothing seems to touch the pain so you have my sympathy.

sleepykits · 19/08/2021 19:26

I'm feeling better already after these stories.

Amazingly strong women! Smile

Amdone123 · 19/08/2021 19:30

I would say an abcess but like a pp said, Quinsy is awful. Well, I didn't have it but my dsis did. Long before we had mobiles, I got a call from her mumbling something! I dashed to her house to find her lay on her couch in agony. Rang the gp who took one look and rang for an ambulance. Horrid experience.
