Induction that went wild, followed by an episiotomy when the doctors said " grit your teeth, this is going to hurt " . It did. More than sciatica, 2 knee replacements, 2 decompression surgeries and nasal surgery.

Ruptured ovarian cyst is the worst pain I've ever felt. Throwing up then passing out because I think my body couldn't think of what else to do. (hitting my head on a kerbstone on the way down“

Good lord that’s awful: hope you’ve recovered fully from the head injury.

I agree with trigeminal neuralgia being the worse pain ever. I have type 1 and 2 so I get the pain of intense toothache (constant) for about 3 weeks with no pain relief (because it originates at the base of the nerve and there is no damage just pain). But that is nothing in comparison to the “I want to kill myself” pain of the shocks which, for me, last hours. Oh and it repeats every few hours. But luckily I get remissions that last a few months before the cycle starts again. But this means I live in fear of eating, wind, washing, brushing teeth, talking because these are all triggers. It’s progressive too. The treatment? Brain surgery which isn’t guaranteed to work.

Lol at the top trumping on this thread.

OP - I hope you are comfortable now and got some heavy duty painkillers into you.

Trigeminal neuralgia, horrendous pain, turns you into a recluse as its impossible to function.
I would be happy for the side of my face to be paralyzed, rather than have the pain.

Thanks @Chicchicchicchiclana

But my need to complain does seem less! Grin

Oh God @2020newbie, that sounds horrific. I'm so sorry if I'm completely wrong but I think I've read about your or similar conditions, and people have taken there own lives.Flowers

I’m with you OP, toothache is the worst. I’ve had recurrent infections in my wisdom tooth which has a huge hole in it, plus numerous fillings all of which have fallen out. They have finally decided to remove it (after charging me over £500 for the various treatments I’ve had) and I am counting down the days!

I’ve also had a quinsy before, and that was a close second, joint second place with giving birth I think.
