I will ask for advice, and you have to answer using only a quote from somewhere else on Mumsnet. Then you can ask for the next piece of advice. (best to quote the advice question you're answering in case there's cross-posting)

Okay, first question: What should I wear to my cousin's wedding?

The cat wants dinner but it's an hour early - what should I do?

First line line of defence is to just Ignore him.

If he ever approaches you, make sure you reply with an unequivocal no to whatever he suggests. I don't usually advise this but I would make sure to work in mention of my husband to my reply.

Make sure to break that stalking habit and maybe also try giving the older cat a place to hide and have alone time, like a little carrier-sized box. I hope it works out!

What's your favourite scene in Motherland?

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 07/01/2023 21:06

Is there any other alternatives except hair removal that anyone could suggest?

I’m not sure if it’ll work for you but I brush all my hair to the front (like cousin it) then roughly blow dry all over

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 07/01/2023 21:31

What's your favourite scene in Motherland?

I laughed out loud at the clichéd end scene where the gang bangers' car blows up but the hero isn't there because he's chosen to go dancing with the heroine instead of a drive by shooting. (Spoiler alert)

Spray with Febreeze. Don't wash anything woollen or cashmere. Not worth the risk.

If you're worried about parking, get a car with a reversing camera or parking sensors (or better still, both). It makes life a lot easier!

Katkin is a total win here, and because it’s only one pouch a day it’s not as expensive as it initially seems.

What's your idea of Heaven?

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 09/01/2023 12:48

What's your idea of heaven?

This one’s a bit niche but… the sound of people “double biting” food, like a sandwich, where they take two small bites before chewing. The second bite is always really wet and whiskery sounding. My late grandmother’s gentleman friend used to do it and it has always stuck with me.

Tell me about your most romantic date ever!

I had hideous upset stomach as a student and my housemate was in the bath. I was too embarrassed to ask her to get out so I poo’d in a Tupperware and buried it in the garden.

He’s good at corners, with his little brushes.

As well as running him a few times in the week, we’re a good team at the weekends when I tidy and dust one room and leave him to vacuum while I do the next one.

Also have a normal one for the stairs.

His name is Robert.
