I live under a major flight path and I just heard my first plane it what must be months. My goodness it was noisy!

Because I'm an arse who stays up way too late drinking wine and scrolling my phone even though I'll regret it in the morning lol

I was at a gig tonight and now way too wired to sleep!

My birthday today and I just got home after a night out.
I was with my partner and children, v bizarre but utterly good.

There’s some kind of alarm going off intermittently outside and I can’t sleep through it.

Anxious about various things work and childcare related. I have a dc with sn

Suffering majorly with anxiety.

My nice dp has been supportive so what I need now is probably some mindless Netflix

Annoying, that was one good thing about lockdown no plane noise and quiet roads.

I'm awake as horrendous teenage son would not come off his computer, totally kicked off. It's been an ongoing situation and I'm fed up of it now.

Laid here trying to be calm and repeating the Mumsnet mantra 'it will pass', give me toddlers over teenagers any day

Also yes, I hear you on the planes just starting up again.
I love following FlightRadar geek and it was noticeable how less planes were in the air over lockdown.
We're not under a flight path, but we do get fairly low planes to places like Malta, Portugal and Spain which have only recently started up again and I can watch coming down from the garden lol

@PoppyDotx so sorry about your dad. I hope sleep comes for you at some point but sounds like a very tough time

Insomnia and job hunting.

Poppy I am so sorry, it isn't easy.

I have either plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis, must see the podiatrist. 2 trammies haven't touched the pain tonight. Waiting til 2am to take next pair. So painful even lying down, owch.

Finished work at 12, takes a while to settle down.

I'm working a 12 hour night shift in a care home....2nd night of 4 in a row and I've only slept for 2 hrs today 😭

I started reading a book and then wanted to find out the next chapter, and the next.. just finished it and now can’t sleep!

My husband had agreed to give our marriage a second chance after I had an affair (totally unexpected and not deserved I know), but has changed his mind.

It's come as a complete shock and I'm completely heartbroken.

I think I have Covid. PCR negative but lateral flow positive and I feel very poorly, my breathing is fine I just have horrendous stomach cramps and diarrhoea (sorry) and hate just nearly had me passing out on the loo and high temp and shivers.

Does anyone else just pray for morning to come round quickly when you're poorly?

On day 3 of sertraline, night 3 of insomnia and heightened anxiety. Hope this gets easier. Trampoline park tomorrow should be fun!
