I keep hearing good reviews about Haichi and I really want to watch it. But I also know I would probably spend most of the time sobbing my heart out, so I’ve avoided it.

The last animal lead film I think I watched was either Marley and Me or War Horse. Both left me in inconsolable tears Grin

I’m a wuss

""Room is a brilliant film, and despite the subject matter it actually focuses very little on abuse, and more on the strength of the human character. It's actually quite an inspiring film. Of course I don't know your circumstances and what you might find upsetting, but strangely, and beautifully, it's not as dark as you might think from the description x""

@JovialNickname this is good to know. I've read the book and haven't been able to bring myself to watch the movie because I thought it would be too hard to watch

The Incredible Journey - about two dogs and a cat who are left behind when people move. Even talking about it makes me cry! Also an old French/Canadian version of Robinson Crusoe. It was dubbed. I cried because in the first episode a dog died. Whenever I heard the music, I bawled! Mum and I used to cry at 'Lassie'.
