Supermarket delivery substitutions

I ordered spelt bread. I have received a big bag of rabbit and guinea pig feed. I do not have a rabbit or a guinea pig. I now don't have any bread either.

What bizarre substitutions have you had?

I’m laughing at some of these, how random! My substitutions have always been reasonable.

DH answered the door and when asked if the substitutes were okay said "yep, fine" which also proves my point that he doesn't listen to a word anyone says.

Watching this thread as I'm still new to online grocery shopping.

I know a colleague of mine had a good substitute, ordered 2 blonky blossom hills rose and somehow got two freixenet pink prosecco instead.

Cherries for cherry tomatoes. But usually it's when they say 'no appropriate substitute'. I've had that for organic eggs and bread. Like, really? No eggs at all? And bread?!?

Not a sub because I just get frustrating ones.

In the early days of online shopping I ordered 3 punnets of grapes. Well, I thought I had. Instead I received 3kgs of grapes because silly me hadn't realised it was by weight.
