What are you doing instead of watching the football?

I thought I'd put headphones on and sew, but the noise of the machine bothers the watchers. In any case, I have to have the headphones on too loud for comfort in order to block out the noise of the football!

I'm in my bedroom, eating crisps and watching season 4 of house.

I am half watching as in it's on. but I am Mumsnetting and doing a bit of work. The proper watchers are all at the pubs thankfully.

I’m upstairs reading! Can’t wait til it’s all over.

Just had a long bath, about to choose a film to watch. The scenes of drunken fans out and about already were pretty depressing - no other country behaves like this over football (as far as I know!) so why do Brits? It seems to bring out a toxic tribalism in a great number of people in this country 🤷🏻‍♀️
