Hi both. Smile I've been lost in this post. Don't read if you don't like woo stuff, or at night! Grin
I was doing OK with not having chocolate, but alas it's back. I've almost cut out all caffeine though, just one cup of coffee a day. Will be cutting that one out tomorrow too.

Oh Hi PaperMonster. Sorry, didn't see your post. I'm glad you weren't dyed! lol I think they do tests for Covid at schools now? I hope they don't get it too. My brother has tested positive for it now though. He had the girls Wednesday and started feeling rough Thursday. Didn't know their mum was positive with it though! Naughty cow didn't tell him!

Hello @BorderlineHappy all ok here thanks apart from an unwell child. Hopefully just something and nothing. Busy, lovely week. Had lots of compliments this week, so feeling quite good about myself!

How are you doing?

WreckTangled · 21/01/2022 20:59

I'm exhausted. Struggling to keep up with life 😴 not sure if it's post Covid or if it's just because there's lots going on!

BorderlineHappy · 21/01/2022 23:57

I'm doing well spent the whole day with my gc also brought my 3 youngest and they had a ball.

My MRI was cancelled.
And my blood results have been postponed till Feb.
Otherwise everything is good.

@WreckTangled I hope you feel better soon.
@73kittycat73 compliments that's great.

PaperMonster · 22/01/2022 12:47

(((@WreckTangled))) hope you’re feeling brighter soon.

Why have they cancelled your MRI @BorderlineHappy???

@73kittycat73 hope you’re doing ok xxx

BorderlineHappy · 22/01/2022 12:53

@PaperMonster I'm assuming cause of COVID.
The cases here in Dublin have been quite high
Then they drop all restrictions which makes perfect sense🤦
Nothing to do with Paddy's Day and the extra Bank Holiday.

PaperMonster · 24/01/2022 19:12

@BorderlineHappy hmmm, that sounds about right 🙄

Meanwhile here, daughter and myself have Covid. Had a dreadful day today although I have slept on and off til 3pm.

WreckTangled · 25/01/2022 06:25

Hope you feel better @PaperMonster I felt awful for a say and night then rubbish for a few days then tired with headaches and back ache for be following two weeks. I'm starting to feel more like myself now. I'm in the gym and my levels were perfect overnight.

PaperMonster · 25/01/2022 09:46

Thanks @WreckTangled I felt terrible Sunday night and all yesterday but brightened up a bit in the evening. Feeling not too bad today but I’ve been awake for far too long - probably as a result of sleeping so much yesterday! And the vice like grip it had on my head has eased, so that’s a relief!! Am actually going to get up … in a minute!

WreckTangled · 25/01/2022 10:14

The headache is awful isn't it? Just take it really easy Thanks

73kittycat73 · 25/01/2022 19:13

Hello all. Flowers to you all suffering Covid. Sad I hope you all feel better soon. (((hugs)))
Had my eyes tested at home today. Going to get a pair of glasses I can actually read with. Grin
Got serious post Christmas blues yesterday and the day before. Tried to cheer myself up by buying Christmas decorations. Xmas Grin Last year I went all posh and coordinated. Looked nice but didn't feel Christmassy. Have dug to the back of the cupboard and found some older decorations I still had in red, greens, silver, gold etc. Going to use those this year, and a few extra I bought now.
Not trying to wish the year away though. Looking forward to summer. And of course Easter. Do any of you have Chocolate eggs at Easter? I do. Blush Am really trying again to cut out the sweet stuff. Had my groceries delivered today, lots of fruit (I'm aware only 1 banana a day.). The only sweet things left in my cupboard are cereal. Will see how I go with that, might have to hid them! lol

Thanks ladies. I’m a bugger for chocolate! I really need to try and cut it right down! One of my clients sent me doughnuts today - I’ve had two! But I’ll be back on it when I’ve recovered!! I found a Christmas decoration I bought last January this week! It missed going on the tree! I’d won a voucher for a garden centre just before Covid started and I had to use it by mid Jan last year, so I bought some garden ornaments and I had a couple of pounds left over so I bought a knitted Robin bauble! It’s been sitting on my butcher’s block getting covered in stuff for a year!!

BorderlineHappy · 25/01/2022 20:42

Ah hugs @PaperMonster hope you feel better real soon.
And i know about the craving, its awful.

Im back on my healthy eating.I had too i was so sick of crap.
So i bought some stuffed mushrooms and had them with salad.
Also the Heinz protein plant soup is really nice.
i2-prod.walesonline.co.uk/incoming/article21756339.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/0_Heinz_Plant_Proteinz_Group.jpg

Im trying to find nice things so i dont go mad eating crap.

WreckTangled · 26/01/2022 06:15

I love chocolate too but I'm trying to be good. I've got some low carb chocolate from Tesco. Easter I usually get the divine 85% egg as that's low carb. Hot cross buns are another thing though....

PaperMonster · 26/01/2022 08:47

@WreckTangled haven’t you had the Not Cross Buns before? I might order some more actually. They were tasty. It was someone on here got me onto them I’m sure!

Continue to feel better but woke up with a sore throat today.

@BorderlineHappy I love a stuffed mushroom! I bought a pack last week from Lidl - they were so tasty!

WreckTangled · 26/01/2022 09:05

Yes I have but they're no match for the blueberry, apple, chocolate, salted caramel and cheese ones that M&S do Grin

73kittycat73 · 26/01/2022 10:54

Hello all. Smile Ah, a fellow chocolate fiend PaperMonster. I hope you enjoyed the doughnuts. I love Morrisons jam doughnuts. Luckily haven't shopped there in a while. Grin They are so nice though. Well done on the winning a voucher, sounds nice what you chose. I'm still using a Christmas mug. I bought it last year Christmas time, but it makes such a nice cup of coffee it's staying out. I hope you continue to feel better. (((hugs)))
That dinner sounds yum BorderlineHappy. Smile I bought some veg yesterday with my shopping. Must have them today, forgot yesterday, lol. I did have a bowl or two of cereal in the night. Blush Not got much left now though so might just chuck that away.
Hi WreckTangled. Smile What's the low carb chocolate like? If I'm trying to be good I buy Lindt 80% dark mint chocolate. Love mint choc, and it's too rich to eat all in one go. (Have tried, got awful acid reflux after!) I'm not so keen on Hot Cross Buns, not keen on the raisins/sultanas.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 26/01/2022 15:43

It tastes like advent calendar chocolate. It's called chocologic. I also like the 80-85% ones and agree about being too rich to eat loads!

PaperMonster · 26/01/2022 18:10

Haha @WreckTangled I so read that as being all the flavours in one 🤦‍♀️

73kittycat73 · 27/01/2022 19:23

Oh, just Googled it WreckTangled, they sell it on Amazon via their Morrisons shop. Sounds like the reviewers like it too. Good job you can't eat loads at once, the first review is about not staying too far away from a loo! Grin
Well, I've taken the plunge and have ordered a load of fruit, nuts (Not too many I know. I ordered one packet to try. Graze Veggie Protein Power Nuts 128g) and bar some veggie pork pies (Trying them for the first time too.) and 1 packet of Crack a jacks for emergencies, only food you can cook. I'm really going to try and not eat sweet food for the week, see how I go. Only 'snacks' to eat will be nuts, fruit or pies!
How are you and your daughter feeling today PaperMonster? Have you ordered any not cross buns yet? Do they taste like regular hot cross buns? I like the toffee ones they did in the supermarkets last year. Grin
How are you doing BorderlineHappy? Still feeling OK I hope? Not long to February now.
Some of my Christmas decs turned up today. I got some lovely multi coloured tinsel from The Range. I also got my two gingerbread shelf sitters. The boy one is fantastic, but the girls one has tuned up with loose threads all over her, cut pipping and no buttons. Have mailed the seller to tell them. Hopefully they'll send another one out and I can send this one back.

OP posts:
PaperMonster · 27/01/2022 21:28

Every day is different @73kittycat73. Today I’ve been really dizzy, daughter’s had tummy ache. Thanks. No, not ordered any yet - might get round to it tomorrow!! I actually prefer them to hot cross buns tbh - I think because there’s not as much fruit in them!

BorderlineHappy · 27/01/2022 22:06

Ah im feeling like i could eat everything in sight.
Im back on my healthy eating and mostly sticking to it,but when the kids have their tea.The smell is gorgeous.

I might push back my own meal and have it when they have theirs.
@73kittycat73 im feeling the same, lately i have a mad sweet tooth.
@PaperMonster hope you feel better soon.

73kittycat73 · 29/01/2022 20:51

Aww, sorry to hear that PaperMonster. Flowers You've had it about 1/2 weeks now? I hope it clears up really soon for you and your daughter. I don't like the fruit in them either. I don't like Christmas pudding or cake either.
Speaking of Christmas (I'm sorry, I'll shut up about it soon! Blush ) I decided to try and focus on other times of the year too and ended up buying some Hallowe'en decorations! Grin Was looking for Easter ones but of course right now they are quite expensive. Still, have a while to go yet so I might find some. I'll get my mum to scope out the pound shop. Grin
Aww, in theory it's easier for me as I only have myself to cook for BorderlineHappy. Still, when my nieces come round, or my mum gets some chocolate it's almost automatic that I eat some! I took the Snack-A-Jacks off the shopping list. Demolished the pack I had left a couple of nights ago. Blush Haven't had chocolate in days though and I must admit, I do feel better. Not got that crushing physical tiredness. Still, shopping comes tomorrow so will have lots of fruit and salad.
I shall declare that yesterday I weighed 14st 2.6lbs. I shall weigh myself again in a month. Do feel free anybody to add your own declaration. Smile
