As title, what property can you get in your area on a budget of £400,000?

Anywhere from a 2 bed semi to a 4 bed detached to a 6 bed terraced depending on the area!

3 bed semi in a nice suburban area. Or 2 bed terrace in a more central/trendy part of the city. Bristol.

4 bed detached in the best part of town. I live in the NE but £400K is well above the average house price in most parts of the UK .

5 bed detached with at least 2 acres of garden.

You'd get a nice 4 bed detached in a lovely leafy area.

2 bed flat in our village!

I bought my house 3 years ago. It was £450k. Nice area but not what I would call plush. 4 bed, terraced. Postage stamp garden. But it's mine and I love it.

Decent 1 bed or a 2 bed in need of a refurb.

North London. Surprised you could get so much for your money here tbh.

Our 5 bedroom detached newbuild and enough change for a nice new car to put on the drive.
