As title, what property can you get in your area on a budget of £400,000?

Small one bedroom flat. West London.

Two of my current house, with change.
So two 3 bed semis. A new car. And a nice holiday.

Here in Suffolk it will get a 4 bedroom detached.

A mid sized 4 bed detached. Probably needs a wee bit of decor modernization. Driveway parking for one car, two if you're lucky.
Midlands

A smallish 2 bed flat in a less desirable area.

A one bed near amenities etc.

My house! 5 bed 1970s detached Wimpy house (built as 4 bed, we extended over garage).
North Wilts.
