Aged 56.
Feel pretty lucky

  • lovely husband ( although he is sulking in kitchen currently as he hates going out and friends have asked us to dinner over weekend)
  • lovely pets including new puppy
-lovely friends who I share with and we just “get” each other
  • face ok due to many many years high SPF use
  • hate the vertical lines above my lip which seemed to have exploded in the last week but I don’t want to have fillers/Botox as worried sending wrong message to myself
  • lost a precious sister 11 yrs ago and still miss her every moment
-no kids - 2 miscarriages and 2 unsuccessful goes at IVF. I would have used donor eggs but husband refused - forgiven him now but took a while.
  • I need to loose 10 kg which am struggling to do
  • I have been lucky with my job! Worked hard and good satisfaction but never pays well
  • mortgage almost paid off which will give us 10 years to save for retirement .
Satisfied overall. Try to keep positive. Antidepressants in early 40s have saved my life. I will never stop them!
