I'm hoping to get "out there" if lockdown ends to hope to meet a new man . I'm not keen to try OLD and have been reading self help books about meeting men anywhere if you are open to it. in the past I only ever met men in bars or via friends and parties and have never been approached in the street etc. just wondered how many people have met someone in an unxepected way, when they werent looking?

looks like the traditional ones, work, friends,hobbies etc, and some online ones are more likely
all this meeting in supermarkets or traffic jams etc always seems a bit far fetched !

Evening classes at uni. It didn’t happen straight away I’d just come out of a marriage and he was in a ltr. We were friends in the same study/social groups. It was over 6 years later we bumped into each other when we’re were both in the right place.

At work. It was as a very ‘work hard, play hard’ type culture so there were lots of parties and opportunities to get to know people socially. We just became friends that way and eventually more than that.
