where did you meet your partner

I'm hoping to get "out there" if lockdown ends to hope to meet a new man . I'm not keen to try OLD and have been reading self help books about meeting men anywhere if you are open to it. in the past I only ever met men in bars or via friends and parties and have never been approached in the street etc. just wondered how many people have met someone in an unxepected way, when they werent looking?

Nightclub one night stand. That's lasted nearly 16years now... (Plus two kids, 7 house moves across 3 countries, and him joining the Army)

XH - uni
DH - OLD in early 30s. Wasn't expecting much post-divorce and don't want kids, so off-putting to a lot of men who do or they wouldn't message because they assumed at that age I'd be on the prowl for potentials! Delighted to find a slightly older man with the same outlook as me. Here we are - married, dog, house.
