I caved and ordered some multi coloured teva mandals a few days ago, they arrived today and I look fabulous in them. By fabulous I mean slightly dodgy looking geography teacher.

I ordered a new oven about ten weeks ago, its a posh rangemaster one, I fucked up and ordered the wrong size so it doesn’t fit in the gap. Old oven is already gone.

DD had the first meeting with actual human beings (fellow students) since last August. She had fun! And is on her way back.

Math, call your post office and ask to speak with the delivery supervisor. There is a legal requirement to deliver the mail to the individual boxes. In the first flat I lived in after uni the PO required the landlord to provide individual mailboxes rather than a shared one so that they could comply.

SimonJT I have to ask - what are Teva mandals?

Teva is a brand, mandals is man sandals.

It's infuriating isn't it Math? We had similar issues when I lived in an apartment block in Seattle. The mailboxes ended up so jammed full of junk mail (don't get me started...) that there was no space for the actual important mail, and the mail carrier had no interest in finding a solution.

Sorry about the oven. When we ordered ours I would have been absolutely gutted if it hadn't fit. I think I would actually have demolished the kitchen.

A Mexican restaurant has just followed me on Twitter, its about an hour away and doesn't do fajitas.

DH is still working. Silkiecat will be happy as she sits next to DH when he works.

Less hot here today. Had fishcakes and roasted Mediterranean veg for dinner followed by cheesecake.

Sodding was sunbathing on the lawn with Shyboy when I got home from work this evening. Lovely Neighbour refers to Sodding as Shyboy’s shadow. Sodding’s spent so much time outdoors over the last few weeks he is now extra svelte and very muscular. If he was human, he’d have ripped abs and bulging thighs. 😄

I left some important papers on my desk when I left work this evening and had to turn back to fetch them. With the social distancing measures and one way system in our building, this was twice as annoying as usual.

I've just had a late night shower and am about to have a late night snack

Just went online to check the kids lunchcards and DS has eaten anything since 30 April He must have lost his lunchcard but not told anyone. I've ordered him a new one and asked staff to give it him.

Silkiecat is mad with DH. He has left her to come upstairs to brush his teeth despite her telling him this was not acceptable.

@Silkiecats has DS seemed hungrier than usual? The cat isn't a siamese is it...?

I have just eaten spaghetti hoops on cheese on toast, it was nice. Might get a cup of tea now. I forgot to go into the centre to get cash Thurs so will have to go in today. I was about to go to the supermarket earlier then realised I was waiting for a replacement card and only have a few quid on me.

Not especially frownette though he has been snacking on biscuits a lot but he is supposed to do that, the Ped said best as he's asd and was only 4% bmi. He has been looking very thin but he's always been thin.

The cat is a tabby cat with white paws. DH insisted if we had to get a cat as he wasn't a cat person we needed a shorthaired tabby with white paws. Now he's a complete cat convert. I wanted a long-haired tabby but agreed so we got a cat.

I've just done some aerobics as DH is sleeping with the cat so I can do wierd nocturnal activities. I did it without music.

6:50 here and thoughit is my day off, I will do some work from home with my feet in a bowl of water.
My hydrangea is iron deficient.

Are your feet improving? I just did the bins.

Cup of tea and breakfast in a bit. I'll do a wash then head off after that.

DC2 has blood tests today. I know they are anxious but it has to be done and I’ll be strict beforehand and kind/sympathetic afterwards.

Frownette by leaps and bounds! - physio made me realize that I need to rebuild calf muscles - muscles in general to be honest.

I am having coffee on the terrasse - I will go an check for aphids (Blattläuse) afterwards.

After I ordered a new card this morning...I found mine in my glasses case I was trying to get my specs on to find my toenail polish

Frownette That is "suboptimal" as a friend of mine would say.

I have decided to put my glasses on one of those bands you put around your neck.
DH and I will go for a Vietnamese midday meal and I have enlisted in a FL course about healthy aging.

Can you choose which 2 you want, or have they just cut one item out?

I suspect it’s probably just sandwich and a snack, as a bottle of drink is way more expensive than a packet of crisps

So they are forcing you to eat snacks?
