Glitter Bomb?

Someone sent DP a glitter / tiny penis confetti to work. He opened it at work and was covered in tiny penis confetti and glitter. It was all over him, his desk and floor. He opened it in his office and was embarrassed but is now fuming. He's contacted the company that sent it - to try and find out who sent it to him. Their email bounces back and they don't pick up the phone.

I'm wondering if this counts as criminal damage or harassment and he should report it to the police.

The company won’t confirm who sent it. That’s the point of a glitter bomb. They’re often recommended on MN actually as things to do when someone has been a right pain in the ass. Maybe your DH has been a pain in the ass to someone? ;)

I’m guessing if someone has received one there is a reason. Has your DP been messing around, or one of his mates winding him up? It sounds like something my brothers and cousins would do to their mates.

It was a tube that looked like a small poster tube. When he pulled the top off, there was a spring inside and it propelled the glitter and tiny penis confetti everywhere.
