Just watching Bones for the first time and absolutely gutted about Sweets which made me wonder which other tv deaths have upset MNers.

Lots of potential for spoilers here so apologies in advance.

And I've just been reminded about Damon in Brookside.

Heartbroken all over again.

@tommyhoundmum

Nigel falling off that roof has stayed with me. Only listen to the Archers occasionally but happened to be listened to that episode while helping mum in the kitchen.

Not rtft

Tony Stark in the Marvel universe. His fineral was lovely.

LunaNorth · 24/04/2021 22:19

One that has stayed with me was from a medical drama called Hearts and Bones, I think. It had a young Helen Baxendale in it.

One episode featured a young father who went in with a simple nosebleed, but he had haemophilia. One of the young doctors made a mistake that meant he bled out and died. The doctors and nurses were slipping and sliding in his blood as they tried to save him; it was horrific.

They had to tell his wife waiting outside with their baby that her husband had died and she was completely disbelieving.

It was awful; I’ve never forgotten it.

LunaNorth · 24/04/2021 22:20

It was Cardiac Arrest, not Hearts and Bones.
