Welcome, @sproutsandparsnips, and thanks for sharing your unfortunate exam news. Perhaps others have struggled with it too and they'll grade it on a curve. Do they do that in the UK?
Sorry for the confusion over "sprouts". I can't stand Brussel sprouts. They taste like sulfur to me. To clear up any remaining confusion, and because we all love pictures I've attached a close-up of the container that has plants coming up, a picture of the early garden line up, and one that shows two of the hanging baskets I got for mothers day. The tree foliage is also coming in nicely.
Good luck with your jab today @theDudesmummy.
Champagne, it's terrifying when they start driving, isn't it?
I had a chat with the Orthopedist yesterday. He's seen my MRI report and the partial ligament tear that was noted in 2019 is no longer evident. That means that either this radiologist just missed it or that my ongoing pain in the hip is a chronically inflamed bursa, which can be removed with no long term loss of function. He seemed reluctant to pursue surgery. We argued discussed it a bit and have now seemed to compromise on removing the bursa and having him do a visual inspection of the ligament, and repairing it if necessary.
He was quite nice about it, but I think he was a bit unused to discussing the matter with a patient who understands the anatomy of the area and the surgical options as well as he does especially when said patient is a woman.
