I really want some I’m 45! Too old? I’m also ‘curvy’. But damn they look comfy.

108 - if you don’t find the buttons to fiddly

RiseNBrine · 17/04/2021 18:58

There isn’t one. 45 definitely not too old

Thereoncewasahorridmama · 17/04/2021 18:59

I think it depends on your style. I avoid them even though I love the idea because I'm fat and not quirky enough style wise to pull it off. But of you want to, go for it?!

MattyGroves · 17/04/2021 18:59

7?

PicsInRed · 17/04/2021 19:00

8 or any age circa 1983.

spikyplants2021 · 17/04/2021 19:00

23 then a gap then 40 onwards, once you are done pretending to be a grownup. I love them btw!

RiseNBrine · 17/04/2021 19:00

Funnily enough was just looking at ‘advanced style’ on insta. Much older people rocking their own distinctive styles and totally bossing it.

dudsville · 17/04/2021 19:00

Honestly, the answer is death, why must we keep on this charade!!!!!

The issue isn't the age but the cut/fit/style.

Embroideredstars · 17/04/2021 19:00

2.5 years old Wink and I say that as someone who wore them as a teenager and in my early 20s during the 90s Grin

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/04/2021 19:04

I'm 43 and have several pairs.
No age limit at all.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 17/04/2021 19:04

There isn’t one.

I’ve bought three pairs of cord Lucy and Yaks this year, and just ordered one of their dresses. I love them- no waistbands! Massive pockets!

They’re actually really versatile- I’m looking forward to wearing mine with sandals and plain white t shirts now it’s starting to warm up a bit!

Bagelsandbrie · 17/04/2021 19:05

About 4.

Maybe passable when older if you’re pregnant.

Love that answer @spikyplants2021

They can look a bit frumpy/ maternity on curvy women no matter their age. Just try loads on and see how you go
FourTurnings · 17/04/2021 19:06

I’m 51, I wear them and get compliments.

saltychoc · 17/04/2021 19:07

If you have the bladder control, any age.
I think they look best on ages 1-3 and 40+

Jjacobb · 17/04/2021 19:07

I really want to say they look ridiculous on anyone over the age of three. However, I keep looking at these, they're so cheap and look so comfortable I'm seriously thinking about getting some.

@MattyGroves

7?
^this. They are unspeakable
Queenofbeebers · 17/04/2021 19:10

In my head I’m a lot taller than I actually am. I wonder if they look better on willowy types. I’m more sturdy oak.

The woman wearing them on Sewing Bee was 62 and looked fab in them I thought.

Backstreetsbackalrightdadada · 17/04/2021 19:13

Honestly like the day you die... life is too short! I know an 87 year old who only stopped wearing them because they were annoying to go for a wee in. It isn’t the age, it’s finding the right style!

Losttheequipment · 17/04/2021 19:13

I’d say pre-school age only

Watchingthetelly · 17/04/2021 19:14

Love them, wear away OP

Sidge · 17/04/2021 19:16

About 7 or 8.

There are very very few adults that look good in them, especially if you’re not tall and willowy.

CommandoDog · 17/04/2021 19:16

No age - my bust size puts me off wearing them.
