Following a battle with cancer. Very sad.

That's awful. She was an amazing actress.

Very sad news. Loved Helen, she was such a talent actress and just oozed class.

One of the few times I've been genuinely upset about a famous person passing away. No age at all, and she just seemed like a genuinely fabulous person.

I thought she was poorly in her last series of Roadkill she was holding her arm strangely throughout her scenes. So very sad to hear this. Her poor family. No age at all. Thoughts go out to her lovely family and what a lovely tribute from her husband DL.

Such sad news she was incredibly talented and so young - I believe she has two young children as well - my thoughts are with her family

She was absolutely fucking magnificent in everything. My god what a waste and her poor poor children.

It’s really sad. She was brilliant and was still getting amazing roles and killing them as a middle aged woman. She was so good as both a beautiful leading lady and as a character actress, she seemed to be able to combine them both into one.

I’ve never watched peaky blinders but saw her recently playing a young Cherie Blair in the queen and thought how good she was.
I hadn’t known she was ill she always came across so cheerful and strong.
I loved the names of her children manon and Gulliver who calls kids names like that!!!
I met her husband once lovely lovely bloke

Sad and heartbreaking ....apologies if anyone has already posted but I remember she was was desert island discs last June.
She expressed such a lot of love for Damian and her children. (Hope the link works).

This is heartbreaking, I’ve only today been watching her in Harry Potter. Such an amazing actress and beautiful women. My heart goes out to her husband and children. RIP Helen. 💐

Sad news indeed.

Saw her during lockdown in the National Theatre's Deep Blue Sea and then later in David Hare's Roadkill on iplayer. Thought she was fabulous in both roles. Her two kids are still young. A real tragedy. RIP
