Following a battle with cancer. Very sad.

God that's awful, 52 is so young. I always liked her, I imagine she'd be great fun as a friend. Dreadful news.

Such a shock, so young, one of my favourite actors. She plays such a central role in Peaky Blinders I don't how it'll continue without her

I've been in the habit of replaying random episodes of MotherFatherSon just to watch her. I can't think of a performer who's brought me more joy. Loved her in Peaky Blinders, loved her in everything.

Oh dear lord. So very sorry to read that. I first saw her in Anna Karenina, and have been a fan ever since.
