I love damson jam 😋 My absolute favourite as I love the tanginess. I don't have a particular preference of brand but I have bonne maman at the moment.

Morello cherry by Wilkins of Tiptree.

Ginandplatonic · 16/04/2021 10:04

Boring old raspberry I’m afraid. Especially home made. It has a depth of flavour and tartness under the sweetness that mass produced just can’t duplicate. Sadly I’m also having to make do with Bon Maman currently.

Bracken Hill jam is amazing. You have to order it online. I like the blueberry and lavender.

Both sound nice. My Aunt used to have a damson tree and made home made 😋

You can't go wrong with Bonne Maman. Berries and cherries is my favourite although I'm sure I've got some bramble jelly by them somewhere.

Crispina · 16/04/2021 10:06

Will look up bracken hill

I grew-up on my grandparents farm and my gran used to make her own strewberry jam. I've tried to make it myself but it doen't come out anywhere near the same.

MaryIsA · 16/04/2021 10:08

Blackcurrant. Tart and really tastes of fruit. Sickened of it now though due to very productive Blackcurrant bush and making far too much of it.

Home made blackcurrent jelly or homemade bilberry jam. The latter is known as mucky mouth jam in our house as it stains. Bloody lovely though

Bairnsmum05 · 16/04/2021 10:15

Gooseberry or crab apple, very hard to find!

happystory · 16/04/2021 10:20

Apricot, any brand ...

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 16/04/2021 10:22

My mum used to make marrow and ginger jam. Delicious! Never seen it for sale.

My sister lives in France where we breakfast on Myrtille Sauvage on baguette. It's the best! We call it Savage Myrtle! I think it's wild blueberry.

3Britnee · 16/04/2021 10:26

Apricot! I only ever have jam in hotels etc though, in those little individual pots.

Justmuddlingalong · 16/04/2021 10:30

Rhubarb and ginger.

ShirleyPhallus · 16/04/2021 10:32

I’d say Pearl

Queenoftheashes · 16/04/2021 10:39

Fortnum’s apricot preserve 👌

MrsSiriusBlack1 · 16/04/2021 10:42

Good old seedless raspberry

Seeingadistance · 16/04/2021 10:45

Raspberry, with seeds!

LovelaceBiggWither · 16/04/2021 10:46

Maggie Beer's Burnt Fig jam. It's awesome.

Queenofbeebers · 16/04/2021 10:47

God yes Damson.

I actually purchased a new one from the garden centre and was so excited about trying it. Because this is what my life has become now.

TheBitchOfTheVicar · 16/04/2021 10:59

Shirley Grin

Blackcurrant here!

Crispina · 16/04/2021 11:52

Some of these sound lovely. Burnt fig!
I tried quince jam last year. It was OK. Apparently it goes well with cheese

I love jam. I had the Bonne Maman advent calender in December and enjoyed trying all the different flavours especially the unusual ones.

Cally62 · 16/04/2021 12:33

Pineapple...So very hard to find any anywhere so have only just bought some fresh pineapples this morning to make my own.

DD sent me some Greengage, plum & fennel pollen jam from The London Borough of Jam. 'Tis divine.

Queenofbeebers · 16/04/2021 12:33

A bonne maman advent calendar? From where??
