Do you recognise any posters usernames on here?

I’ve been on here about a year or so and had about 3/4 different usernames but I’ve had this one for the longest....

I recognise a handful of posters usernames. Some for good reason others not so 😂 but it’s interesting given how many people are on here.

I suppose how catchy/different the username is to me, how frequently we are in the same threads and whether we have agreed/disagree in the past, if they’ve been helpful etc... all play a part.

So my list of user names I recognise on here.... (some of them I can’t remember exactly but I know if I see them so they won’t be on the list)

There’s definitely more but my mind has literally gone blank!!! I’ll add them as I remember. The ones above are in my mind because I’ve seen their posts recently.

A handful of oldies, I've been here a long time, or someone who posts a lot. As a rule no though because I don't usually read the user name.

Yes, a handful. Generally, not for positive reasons.
Yup, I’ve had some lovely posters help with things and I can’t remember their names. But I do remember those who are often inflammatory for inflammatorys sake.

And @Cocolapew my DD named her dog this and I immediately thought "I know a MN poster called that!"

Some have been mentioned, two haven’t - SchrodingersImmigrant (which I think is a great name!) and Xenia

I usually just remember the first part of the username not any numbers etc so can't tag people but my list is:

I recognise most of the names already mentioned.

pigletjohn is the noteable username I'd like to add to the list.

@ShowOfHands I think I may have mentioned you before in a Fave MNers thread 😂 I could certainly expand your group so it's not just you and Coco but I'm not naming posters that haven't posted on here, someone will come along and call me a twat and a suck up and I'm far too sensitive for that 😳

As you can tell, I pay attention to the usernames that make me laugh or smile and notice them around the boards but don’t pay attention to other people.

I wonder if Ilovesooty is the same person who was on the TES forum under that name

I recognise most names mentioned on this thread. There's also few names I recognise because I always eyeroll at their posts.

Not quite what you asked but I did notice someone using one of my old usernames on Tattle.

Probably a coincidence but I did think I hope they don't think that's me! Then realised nobody would know and it wouldn't even matter!

Yes! Hi I think you just seem to be an active user atm and we must look at a lot of the same threads so I see your username a lot.

@AnyFucker - a straight talker and fantastic relationship advice, I always wait for them to add to a post

Most I recognise have been mentioned already, but I always love Eckhart's and RedToothBrush's posts.

Also I always remember RoxaneMonk because hers were the first threads I read when I joined mumsnet last year.

Oh and the best username I've ever seen is LabiaMinoraPissusFlapus

I've just remembered another one, Ghost something? Haven't seen her for ages though. Oh and Becca1994 or something like that. There's probably loads more but it's difficult to recall off the top of my head. ChristmasSeacow but I think she name changed ages ago...

Quite a few, some for not great reasons, some for interests similar to mine and some just because I've been around for a few years now under this and a couple of name changes and an old account I forgot my login details from before that again
