Blissfully just a wood pigeon in the garden (and DH slurping his tea!). It's 7.39 and the Easter school hols so we're lazing in bed and our two DS aren't awake yet 😃

lucysmam · 07/04/2021 07:46

Fridge humming
Birds outside
The odd car passing

I love a peaceful cup of tea first thing every morning :)

Itwasgoodwhileitlasted · 07/04/2021 07:50

Birds signing
Ears popping
DS2 chattering away downstairs

RosesAndHellebores · 07/04/2021 07:51

Birdsong, the washing machine, DH faffing in the kitchen.

RedRec · 07/04/2021 07:54

Zoe and Richie talking on Radio 2. Now starting to play Michael Ball's new song (barf).

luciles · 07/04/2021 07:56

The washing machine, babys music and sleeping :)

drinkingwineoutofamug · 07/04/2021 08:00

The bloody crows nest in my chimney that I've been asking partner to
Sort for the past 7 years Angry
Next doors washing machine

perfectpizza · 07/04/2021 08:00

Silence. Teenage dc still in bed. DH at work. I'm off to make a bru in peace and quiet.

LakeFlyPie · 07/04/2021 08:01

Bloody scaffolders hurling equipment into truck and shouting at the top of their voices, been at it for 40 mins
On my last day of annual leave today, DH's alarm (which he forgot to switch off) woke me on the other 3 days.
So much for a lie in Angry

TroysMammy · 07/04/2021 08:01

Me slurping my tea.

someoneiou · 07/04/2021 08:03

2 and 3 year old DDs playing together, muffled sound of DHs voice on a conference call.

namesnamesnamesnames · 07/04/2021 08:04

8am a lazy morning. I can hear my child's quiet tv and birds singing.

miltonj · 07/04/2021 08:05

A plane in the sky. My daughter shouting (she's not upset, she's just noisy) Grin the keys tapping on my partners computer.

Canigooutyet · 07/04/2021 08:06

Birds, traffic, building site noise,), car doors banging, office garage shutters opening, aeroplane and people who cannot talk quietly (I’m a couple of floors up and hear office talk and someone calling their dealer)

Claire4567 · 07/04/2021 08:07

Washing machine on a fast spin. Husband tapping away on his computer in the dining room. Nothing else. Very quiet here.

3Britnee · 07/04/2021 08:09

My little blow heater.
A car just pulled up and someone got out and shut the car door.
My dogs' incessant fucking licking 🤬

PolarnOPirate · 07/04/2021 08:10

My foot massager,
DS1's playstation control click clacking, Fifa 21 sounds and his excited noises,
DS2 on YouTube kids,
DH walking around upstairs,
washing machine going.
But funnily enough it feels quite peaceful!

HeronLanyon · 07/04/2021 08:10

Nearby commercial building site starting up. It all started March 2020 and has been a constant every day of lockdown wfh. Hmm
My boiler - sounding loud this am never a good sign. Way too cold today to have boiler troubles.
Seagulls - central london here. Far fewer seagulls when cafes/restaurants have been shut as they all went to the river but there are a few lifting their own lockdown and having a nosey for scraps and nesting sites.
Oh here we go - the road diggers who have been digging up neighbouring street for cables have just started. Who knew it could take weeks to dig a two foot trench along a short street !

stuckinarutatwork · 07/04/2021 08:38

DH singing badly to Oasis.
My chicken announcing that she's laid an egg.
DS shouting at Minecraft zombies.

Pinkpowderpuff · 07/04/2021 10:43

I enjoyed reading all the replies 🙂

Baa-ing sheep across the lane.

HeronLanyon · 07/04/2021 11:03

I am considering suggesting a swap with other posters but I fear the delights of living in central london which are largely absent currently would not overcome the noise !

Boom253 · 07/04/2021 11:08

TV news and the piano tuner

Mummaofboys93 · 07/04/2021 11:10

My 5 year old talking to himself as he plays a game & my horrible heavy panting I am having to do from this awful cold I have 😂

SnoopyOnALude · 07/04/2021 11:13

Classic FM on low
My dogs' snuffles as they sleep in the bed under my desk in the study
