Blissfully just a wood pigeon in the garden (and DH slurping his tea!). It's 7.39 and the Easter school hols so we're lazing in bed and our two DS aren't awake yet 😃

On my last day of annual leave today, DH's alarm (which he forgot to switch off) woke me on the other 3 days.
So much for a lie in

2 and 3 year old DDs playing together, muffled sound of DHs voice on a conference call.

8am a lazy morning. I can hear my child's quiet tv and birds singing.

A plane in the sky. My daughter shouting (she's not upset, she's just noisy) the keys tapping on my partners computer.

Birds, traffic, building site noise,), car doors banging, office garage shutters opening, aeroplane and people who cannot talk quietly (I’m a couple of floors up and hear office talk and someone calling their dealer)

Washing machine on a fast spin. Husband tapping away on his computer in the dining room. Nothing else. Very quiet here.

DS2 on YouTube kids,
DH walking around upstairs,
washing machine going.
But funnily enough it feels quite peaceful!

Nearby commercial building site starting up. It all started March 2020 and has been a constant every day of lockdown wfh.
My boiler - sounding loud this am never a good sign. Way too cold today to have boiler troubles.
Seagulls - central london here. Far fewer seagulls when cafes/restaurants have been shut as they all went to the river but there are a few lifting their own lockdown and having a nosey for scraps and nesting sites.
Oh here we go - the road diggers who have been digging up neighbouring street for cables have just started. Who knew it could take weeks to dig a two foot trench along a short street !

I am considering suggesting a swap with other posters but I fear the delights of living in central london which are largely absent currently would not overcome the noise !
