How many rings do you wear? (Engagement, wedding etc)

Since getting engaged and having a ring on my finger I have noticed rings on other women's fingers too, ranging from people I know to colleagues to strangers on public transport etc.

I have noticed a whole range from just a plain wedding band or engagement ring, engagement + wedding ring combo, some beautiful rings with small gems all round (forget what its called) to numerous rings on both hands (often on both ring fingers).

So curious to ask all you mumsnetters, whats on your fingers and is there a meaning behind each?

I'll start.. Just 1 ring for me, a solitaire engagement ring. I'm toying between the idea of a plain wedding band or eternity ring or both...(?)

Just this at the moment. I should have added a plain wedding band by now but Covid has delayed our wedding so it’s still sat in the box with OH’s matching one!

I wear mine all the time, my Grans wedding ring isn't coming off, I've put 3 stone on since it went on!

I used to wear 3 rings, all stacked on top of each other. Engagement ring: platinum band with solitaire brilliant cut diamond. Wedding ring: plain platinum band. Eternity ring: platinum band with inset diamonds halfway round. I stopped wearing them all when lockdown started as all the hand washing and hand gel caused an allergic reaction under my rings, and haven’t put them back on since.

I'm married and wear zero ... I just don't like the feeling of rings on my short fingers.

I have noticed a lot of people looking slightly puzzled at my ring finger when they find out I'm married - pre lockdown if on a night out I'd have men tell me I'm lying about being married because I don't wear a ring

I can appreciate other peoples pretty rings they just don't look right - to me, on my hands lol

An emerald engagement ring and a silver and onyx signet on the little finger of my other hand. If we go out I add the 'stunt' ring that my partner proposed with which was a piece of white sea glass he found years ago when we were out and had set in silver. I'd wear it all the time but I'm worried I'll break it!

Wedding and engagement ring on left hand (no eternity, it wouldn't look right with the other two). I have a few different silver ones for the ring finger of my right hand, either single or stacking, I like to mix them up. None on any other fingers ever.

None,I don't feel comfortable with rings on, tried but just can't wear them.
Even when married I always put them away.My job requires frequent hand washing and always ended up with dent and peeling skin under my wedding band.
My STBEXH sold all my jewellery without my knowledge(shortly before I decided to separate) and although I feel a bit sad,I won't use it anyway.

None. I have both an engagement and wedding ring but I don’t wear them unless dressing up.

Wedding Ring - Infection Control prohibts anything other than a band .

Mine is a Halo Court ( basically a tubular shape so very smooth and 2mm wide )

I have other rings but they only come out for high days and holidays

Wedding, eternity and engagement. Sometimes an aquamarine dress ring on my right hand from grannie.

I have lovely engagement and eternity rings but only wear my wedding band (NHS). I honestly can't remember the last time I wore all 3.

I just wear my wedding ring daily, white gold diamond cut (cant have stones in for work and didnt want a work band and a non work band).

If we’re going out I put on my engagement ring too

I wear 3 on my wedding hand and 1 or 2 on my right hand depending on which rings I choose to wear that day.

I work in a jewellers so I have a few options but I don't personally like my hands with rings on anything other than they ring finger on each hand.

None. I find them claustrophobic, pinching skin, and difficult to wash and put handcream on with.

I wear lots of rings, as does DH. My ring finger has a slim diamond band (Dh's grandmother's wedding ring), a slim plain band, my engagement ring (art deco geometric shape), and my wedding ring which fits around the engagement ring in an arrow shape. I wear lots of chunky silver jewellery including rings on all fingers and a garnet ring on my right ring finger DH bought me for our 1st anniversary. He wears chunky biker style rings that I get to 'borrow'

One, a plain 9ct gold 4mm wedding ring. I stopped wearing my engagement ring when I scratched my baby son with it, said son is now a fully grown adult but I've never felt the need to put it back on.

I have my wedding ring and engagement ring. On my right hand I have a silver Tiffany band that my husband got me a few months after our eldest was born. Occasionally I wear a ring of my grans but it's gold so doesn't really go with my others, plus I'm scared I will lose it.

1. My nannas platinum wedding ring and a cameo(?) Ring. My great nannas signet ring on my little finger and 2 rings friends have bought me.

Just my wedding band (completely plain white gold) on a daily basis. I'm not allowed to wear my engagement ring at work, so I rarely remember to put it back on on my off days.

I vary mine. At the moment I'm wearing a platinum wedding band with a sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Sometimes I wear a full eternity diamond ring in the middle or my nan's diamond solitaire instead of my engagement ring.
I have loads of other rings for my right hand - I love rings and buy far too many!

3 on my ring finger, wedding ring plus 2,one engagement style and one eternity style. Then another vintage one on my other hand, I change them up quite often (have a fair collection).
