Vaccinated? Did you get a card?

I (happily) know a lot of people who've been vaccinated know. All of them seem to have been given a card with a batch number, an information sheet, and were given instructions not to drive for 15 minutes. I had none of these. I'm just interested if it really is just my GP (how it feels) that haven't given these out, and whether I should be querying it.

@LimaFoxtrotCharlie

It comes up under medication received. Not repeats or medical notes/history.

My card is pointless - although it has the details of what I received and when, it doesn’t have anything to identify it to me - not my name or nhs number is on it. So to use that as potential proof for a third party, it’s useless or highly valuable to someone who needs prof but hasn’t had the jab.
Whereas my patient access app IS identifiable as belonging solely to me and therefore that I have had the app and proof for employees etc.

Proof not prof.

I’ve just checked. Nothing recorded under medication received, not even the flu jab I had last year.
I think my GP permits the least access to medical records possible

Card, sticker and told to wait in the waiting area as I had driven (I didn't and went straight to my car, kfc drive through was next door!)

CommanderBurnham · 22/03/2021 19:19

Went for my second vaccination today

Had to ask for my card to be updated but was told it doesn't mean anything

All records of my first dose were on the system. It's also on the nhs gp app so the GP has been informed.

I did my vaccine training a few months ago and Pfizer recipients have to wait, AZ don't. But that may have changed.

No sticker.

CommanderBurnham · 22/03/2021 19:20

The card is useless. I could copy the info onto anyone's card.

Redskyyy · 22/03/2021 19:21

I got the card but nothing else. No info sheet and nothing about driving.

dementedma · 22/03/2021 19:24

No card, no sticker, no 15 minute wait, drive home

My DM (84) was vaccinated in Jan, she didn’t get a card, leaflet, nothing. She did get a 15 mins sit down though. I’m taking her for her second dose tomorrow.
I had my first dose in Feb and received a card and leaflet but didn’t get the 15 mins sit down.
Swings and roundabouts 😀

Apologies, they were actually tulips not daffs.

@Alsohuman

what happens with the people who didn’t get a card?

The people who didn’t get a card are those who were vaccinated in GP surgeries where the batch number is recorded on their notes.

So what happens if you lose your card? Does that mean there is no record anywhere of your batch number?
