I have 28 house plants.

In my defence about 10 don't belong here (they're just here because they should be in another empty house).

Lipglosses, must have over 50 and never where them now with always having a mask on

GrallaceandWomit · 16/03/2021 21:12

Coats/jackets. I’ve had a good sort out of the whole house but one thing I can’t seem to whittle down is the amount of coats I have. Everything else I’ve been ruthless and it feels good to have space!

DobbleDobble · 16/03/2021 21:13

Coat hangers.... they multiply when the doors closed.... but there’s still not the right shaped one when you need it.
Hate those stupid white flimsy wire trousers ones you get from dry cleaners , you hang a pair of jeans on, next time you open cupboard the jeans are touching floor and the hooks about to rip your rails off wardrobe grrrrrrrr

missbridgerton · 16/03/2021 21:14

Mugs - I started to count them once and gave up in horror. We have a full double cupboard full, and a single cupboard full. Rammed. One on top of another and mostly Emma Bridgewater - DH has banned me from going online when there is a sale Blush

Perfume

Dog leads and collars.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 16/03/2021 21:15

Lipsticks

Random items of dolls' house furniture everywhere

Potnoodleforbrains · 16/03/2021 21:15

Wrinkles

FurrySlipperBoots · 16/03/2021 21:16

FatFace socks. I'm trying to be stricter now, and throw them out at the first holes instead of waiting until they're rags.

Playmobil. Although really, can one ever have too much of that stuff?

DeeDimer · 16/03/2021 21:17

Clothes that have obviously shrunk in the wash!

Daisy829 · 16/03/2021 21:17

Blankets. Love a nice fleecy blanket.

Megan2018 · 16/03/2021 21:18

It was cats but sadly we lost 2 of the clan in lockdown 😢 and now only have 1.
So now it’s horse rugs and bras. Horse hardly wears any and I’m still BF and none of the normal bras fit.

I also have a bit of a problem with baby clothes, over buy every size. The loft is overflowing as we aren’t having a second but can’t bring ourselves to part with them.

CreosoteQueen · 16/03/2021 21:20

Knitting needles
Teacups
Books in my ‘to read’ pile
Tea towels

ZednotZee · 16/03/2021 21:20

Children, apparently Grin

Beamur · 16/03/2021 21:21

Everything.
I'm actually pleased when a mug or glass gets broken!
Way too much furniture. DH has inherited loads and can't bear to part with any of it. I have refused to allow the 2nd grandfather clock into the house. We have given away tons and still have a storage unit full to sort out.

Easterbunnygettingready · 16/03/2021 21:23

Twattergy · 16/03/2021 21:23

Tights that I don't wear anymore

Bunnybigears · 16/03/2021 21:24

Clothes that don't fit me

ChocOrange1 · 16/03/2021 21:24

Clothes for my kids, especially dresses for my eldest.

On the other hand I don't have nearly enough clothes for myself 🤦‍♀️

Mumof3girlsandaboy · 16/03/2021 21:25

Shoes and clothes but the rest of the house is minimal

Arrowheart · 16/03/2021 21:25

Wool
Breton tops
Red lipsticks (I have zillions)

ShaunaTheSheep · 16/03/2021 21:26

Wooden spoons - they have their own utensil pot.

EternalOptimist7 · 16/03/2021 21:27

Clothes
Handbags
Jewellery

E Mails
Another vote for pounds in weight 😢
Old photos
Boxes without lids & lids without boxes
Worries but trying to work on that

Loopyloututu2 · 16/03/2021 21:27

Mainly clothes. I must wear about 5% of the clothes I own, if that. I hate getting rid of stuff though, it always seems such a waste when I’ve hardly worn something or it was expensive.
Also cushions. They’re shoved in the loft and cupboards and are all over the house. I had a bit of a thing for buying them for years but since lockdown I haven’t bought any - I’m trying to just live with the house as it is as I think I got a bit obsessive about it pre-pandemic! I was constantly painting / buying new furniture and accessories - I’ve realised I don’t need to change things every few months! Not being able to go to the shops has been good for me in that way.

BabyBee93 · 16/03/2021 21:27

Perfume - I have about 15 at the moment
Coats
Skincare (!!!)
Cardboard boxes - we are planning to move house early next year so naturally our garage is stuffed full of any cardboard boxes I can get my hands on at the moment

73kittycat73 · 16/03/2021 21:27

Toothpaste. With overbrushing I have receded my gums and it's only the sensitive toothpastes that stop them from hurting. I like to have a few in.

SteelMack · 16/03/2021 21:28

Exes!
