Ham
Apples
Bananas
Satsumas/easy peelers

Obviously we buy other things as well but these are bought every week.

This is also different to things we always have in the house such as rice, pasta, cereal, tinned tomatoes, tea.

I buy the same shopping list every single week.
3 types of meat ; a chicken, mince and something frozen like fish/fish fingers/ chicken steaks.
Fresh veg ; cabbage, broccoli, onions, asparagus, aubergine, carrots, lettuce and peppers
Ham and cheese slices plus crusty sliced bread
Lentil crisps
Ice cream cones
A frozen pizza
Coffee.

On a two week rotation,
Frozen veg
Thai/curry/chorizo (for the chicken) , coconut milk, tinned beans, tinned tomatoes, tinned tuna

Store cupboard stuff like rice and pasta when needed. Comes to near as £40 as possible for delivery purposes.

No milk or cereal. I often wonder too Op.

Chicken breast (prepared, x3 for £7 from M&S. I have them for lunch / they are quick and easy when I'm calorie counting)
New potatoes
Jacket potatoes
Broccoli
Carrots

Everything else is as and when. I tend to stock up on cupboard goods / cleaning stuff / laundry stuff / babies nappies and and wipes (brands we prefer) when they are on special offer.

Things like cheese / onions / lemons / garlic / porridge oats (we buy big packs) last two weeks.

I buy mince every other week but batch cook with it.

We have about 5 different types of pasta on the go, same with cereal but I'll replace when something is running low.

We buy salad and veg on rotation as well depending on what is on the menu etc.

We also buy treats (biscuits / multipack of crisps) depending on what we have and want is on special.

Perfect thread for a Sunday afternoon OP
Equivalent to watching a Darling buds of May episode!

And so relieved you didn’t ask how much spent so I don’t need to read about the families of 6 surviving on £40 a week (my spend on strawberries and blueberries alone!)
