I know this has been done before but it's Saturday morning and I'm BORED. Fucking bored. Also feeling sorry for myself because the cat has fallen out with me. Here are a few of my tame ones:

Line of Duty is shit
I don't like dogs
Snapped and farted wasn't funny
Baby showers are fucking hideous
Ross Geller is the best Friend 👌

  • You really wrote that? Really? As a comparative you used a disease that killed millions of people to demonstrate that you dislike a TV show? Sheesh.*

I dislike a TV show that's caused by a virus that's killing a few people. It's called the No. 10 Press Conference.

FuckyouBrennan · 21/02/2021 14:20

People who don’t believe ASD is a real disability are highly ignorant, unintelligent people who shouldn’t ever be parents themselves.

2bazookas · 21/02/2021 14:23

I love cats, dogs, Line of Duty. and facilities used only by people born with vaginas

SweetPetrichor · 21/02/2021 14:23

People shouldn’t reproduce if they have illnesses that will be passed down and impact the child.

Having a baby is not a right and IVF should not be available unless private.

Some men looking amazing in a dress, and equally, some women (myself included) look terrible in a dress!

Obesity is most often a lifestyle choice, but occasionally an illness.

A father should be allowed to make a metaphorical abortion choice - since the choice of whether to go ahead with pregnancy is entirely in the woman’s control, the father should be allowed to step away and have nothing to do with the child if he wanted abortion. He shouldn’t have to pay any maintenance etc.

SweetPetrichor · 21/02/2021 14:25

And of course, the hated opinion on mumsnet, you can be a women and have a penis. You can be a man and have periods. Those don’t dictate gender.

TopTabby · 21/02/2021 14:30

Pink for girls & blue for boys is absolutely fine & there's no way I'd put a boy in pink.

The Harry Potter films are really disappointing if you've read the books first.

Bariatric surgery & irreversibly changing a healthy digestive tract is an absolutely disgusting thing to do to yourself.

Whoopsmahoot · 21/02/2021 14:33

Avocado is rank
Love island is boring
Lip fillers and boob implants look ridiculous
Coffee smells lovely and tastes crap
Some sherries are lovely and much underrated
Gin is gross
Expensive shower gels are pointless
You can’t change sex as your DNA never changes

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 14:43

@SweetPetrichor i agree with your stance on men and abortion but its most definitely an unpopular opinion Grin

letsnotscaretheneighbours · 21/02/2021 14:43

Coffee is filth
I love my Staffordshire Bull Terrier dogs, and one sleeps on my bed
I don't overly like people, but can tolerate them for short periods of time
I like my petrol guzzling sports car

HDDD · 21/02/2021 14:44

Schitts Creek is mostly shit
If you regularly use the tip you are overly consuming
Dogs are not £commodities
Neighbours are mainly irritating

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 14:47

@FoxyTheFox well sorry i disagree! I have two DC with asd and adhd among other diagnoses and ive met plenty of parents who have been told time and again by GPs, Camhs, Consultants etc that their children dont have these issues and yet they still keep demanding that they do have! The vast majority of these parents will also be lacking in basic parenting skills!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 21/02/2021 14:48

Gin and wine are horrible.

I couldn't give a toss if someone with a penis uses the same public toilets as me.

All inclusive holidays are great.

likeamillpond · 21/02/2021 14:52

@Chocolatecake29

The fatphobia on MN, and society in general, is vile.

Living off a tiny lettuce leaf and half a grilled chicken breast like some posters do to maintain a low weight is sad. What a miserable way to live.
(I'm saying this as someone who is slim)

Coffee is overrated.

Aldi has gone rubbish recently.

There s a nastiness towards naturally slim people on mumsnet.
Adelais · 21/02/2021 14:53

Babies sometimes do cry for no reason
I don’t like dogs
Gin tastes disgusting
Irregular choice shoes are ugly
You can’t change sex
Kids should be in school

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 14:53

@FoxyTheFox in fact I really shouldn't say this as it's quite outing but I actually have a friend who does this. Has never set any routine for bedtime and has allowed the kids to fall asleep wherever they please, the kids also never get told no and freely drink cans of coke and eat junk food all day long ( primary school aged kids). Now when they won't sleep until 2am or are bouncing off the walls it must be because they have adhd!!!! The GP has dismissed this repeatedly and so have the school, but according to df they don't know what they are talking about !

bushhbb · 21/02/2021 14:54

Child maintenance is for children, not mothers

Withholding CM to punish the mother for not terminating is immoral

losenotloose · 21/02/2021 14:56

Agree with wewillmeetagain. My sister is a terrible parent and has been trying to get her dd diagnosed as having asd for years because she can't face up to the truth. She even told my dbro she'd been diagnosed!

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 14:59

@losenotloose yes my df also tells people that her dc have been diagnosed whenever she is in a situation where they are behaving appallingly and she hasn't bothered to try and control them.

wewillmeetagain · 21/02/2021 15:02

The fat v thin issues on MN baffle me. Why are people so obsessed with other peoples weight? I really don't care about what a person weighs/ looks like as long as they are a decent person.

FoxyTheFox · 21/02/2021 15:05

You don't get a diagnosis unless there is something there to be diagnosed.

Chewingle · 21/02/2021 15:05

Condoms have a 99% effectiveness

If he was so adamant that he did not want to have a child with a woman he was willing to have sex with - he should wear a condominium.

The fact he chose not to - means that he should accept the financial consequences of that decision surely

Chewingle · 21/02/2021 15:07

Condom!!

FoxyTheFox · 21/02/2021 15:09

The fact he chose not to - means that he should accept the financial consequences of that decision surely

Exactly. His part in the decision making process ends at that point, he decides to have sex knowing full well a pregnancy might be the end result and that he will, at the very least, be financially responsible for the child. He has the option of protecting against this by wearing a condom, getting a vasectomy if he doesn't want any/further children, or not having sex.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 21/02/2021 15:11

To be fair, chewingle putting a condominium on the end of it would almost certainly be an effective form of sexual distancing... 😂

likeamillpond · 21/02/2021 15:11

The royal family were very welcoming towards Meghan Markle and she had an agenda fromn the beginning.
She has has a big chip on her shoulder and enjoys being seen as a victim.
