I don’t think I’ll ever hear of a baby Gary.

I know two adult Gary’s and both are in their 50’s now

Moira - also pretty in the US. Schitts Creek influence, I suppose.

I think the karen thing is really nasty. I have got a friend called Karen and she finds it genuinely hurtful

My Dad was named Percy and we always thought he pulled the short straw compared to his brothers but know I like it and think he really suited it.

Adolf I get but why is Myra so unusable

People use Joseph and Rose. What is so different about Myra that it can’t be used?

Apparently Lee was on its way out a couple of years ago. I see 'Leigh' often, hyphenated to another name.

Don't see many Gareths these days, but I grew up with bloody loads of them.

RoseAndRose · 12/02/2021 19:19

It's because Myra was such an uncommon name, and so must people didn't know any and there are no other famous ones. So the sole association is one of the most notorious child murderers the country has ever had.

fedupandfiredup · 12/02/2021 19:19

Trevor 🤓

Delatron · 12/02/2021 19:32

These are all the names our children will be calling their children. Apart from the odd one with really bad associations....
