What names do you think will never be revived?

I don’t think I’ll ever hear of a baby Gary.

I know two adult Gary’s and both are in their 50’s now

Oh and I know LOADS of Ralphs. I’m of the generation where Judy Bloom’s Forever was seminal (haha) reading in the locker room at the convent school I went to so I’m always a bit at the name

Gavin, Colin, Ian, Brendan, Terry, Kevin and Neil for boys.

Glynis, Lisa, Nicola, Kimberly, Cheryl, Kylie, Theresa and Joan for girls.

My son (24) is William - my first choice was Arthur but DH didn't like it because of the Willo the Wisp cartoon

I’d like to think Barry, Keith, Bernard, Linda, Tracey etc will never return but I reckon they will. There seems to be a cycle, right now we’re seeing a resurgence in popular 1920-40s names so maybe in 10-20 years it’ll be 1950-70s names. Just cannot imagine a baby called Bernard.
