Oh you really are in the wars DWP
UTIs are tough enough without the rest of it.
Drove off to do a flat long run today. Parked at the supermarket and realised that I really did need to use their facilities before starting. If you'd have told me this time last year that I'd end up sitting in the car trying to consider the logistics of walking 10m into my usual shop to use the only toilet facilities on an 8 mile loop, I'd have thought you were bonkers. I just used to pop in at mile 7, go to the loo, buy a can of coke/ red bull and a bag of crisps and recharge for miles 7-10 up hill to home, and it was a treat. I did go in with my face bare. I've still got marks on my face from where I scratched my skin off last time I wore the visor, and triggering a panic attack/ hyperventilating just before a long run really isn't a smart idea.
It's horrible how much social confidence I've lost for doing mundane stuff, and the more the masks and distancing drags out, the more there is to recover.
I was in there late yesterday evening for the food shopping. I've started taking one DC to get them out, get them a little treat, and it's just nice having them to chat to which stops my brain chuntering off to itself.
I wasn't an anxious person before last July, well only for the usual big stuff like job interviews.
