Have you sent anyone a gift of brownies through the post and has a good experience? I have googled and found plenty but would rather go by actual recommendations from someone who has used the company. TIA.

I live about 5 minutes away from Hetty's Kitchen - it's a dangerous game.

And nobody in my family except me likes the Turkish Delight ones... what a shame Grin

TreacleHart · 09/02/2021 10:12

I send Gower .

@ScrummyDiva2

Thorough recommend simplycakeco. They do vegan and gluten free and are delicious!
Came on to say this. I'm coeliac and all their brownies are GF. Recently had to go dairy free too due to my son's allergies so now get the vegan subscription box Grin

Gower Cottage - esp. the chocolate orange ones. I've had Love Brownies too - OK, but not as gooey as the GC ones, which don't have a manufactured taste about them at all.

Fozzleyplum · 09/02/2021 11:45

Someone upthread mentionedcSocial Bite. The brownies are gorgeous. Here's the link

Lockdownwhatlockdown · 10/02/2021 20:03

@TheNationsFavourite do you take orders?! Serious question, they look immense

Oblomov21 · 10/02/2021 20:09

£17.99

Bowlerhats · 10/02/2021 20:35

Thank you, that’s quite expensive. I might dig out my recipe book.

coldwarenigma · 10/02/2021 20:40

I had visions of an 8 year girl being wrapped up and sent in the post cartoon style...

Yes I do (on furlough right now!)
I'll message you!

TheNationsFavourite · 11/02/2021 08:23

This is the current packaging - realised I've bought 8" boxes but my tins are 9" so currently amassing lots of brownie trimmings....just discovered a recipe for brownie trifle with Baileys so will be giving that a go. Very wrong to waste food!

I’ve received and sent these ones, they’re absolutely delicious!

GeidiPrimes · 12/02/2021 01:43

I've just ordered a box of chocolate orange GC brownies. I live alone, so look forward to yamming the lot (and can feel no guilt at refusing the dog one, cos chocolate) Grin

MangoWeetabix · 12/02/2021 06:11

@TheNationsFavourite wow they look great so do you have a website?

Just a Facebook page at the moment, I'll message you the details.

peak2021 · 12/02/2021 07:07

I think 8 years old girls would prefer to travel by themselves and not be wrapped up. Rainbows and Guides likewise.

TheNationsFavourite · 12/02/2021 08:28

I thought you posted on the wrong thread for a moment. The penny has just dropped!

TheNationsFavourite · 12/02/2021 12:53

MangoWeetabix I've sent you a link!

tentative3 · 12/02/2021 15:28

@TheNationsFavourite could you PM me too?

EmmaStone · 12/02/2021 15:42

I've sent a couple of these this week (due to arrive next week), but yet to hear feedback:. A colleague was sent some and they looked amazing.
