Have you sent anyone a gift of brownies through the post and has a good experience? I have googled and found plenty but would rather go by actual recommendations from someone who has used the company. TIA.

Thanks for all your ideas. Was going to order for my son tomorrow and now I have a big list of websites to look at.

Geepee71 · 08/02/2021 20:14

I recently sent my sister a selection from Bad Brownie, this was the vegan selection and she was very pleased with it.

Ragwort · 08/02/2021 20:17

Another recommendation for Gower Cottage, they were advised on here and I've never been disappointed.

TowandaForever · 08/02/2021 20:18

Kind momma are amazing vegan brownies

MySoCalledStrife · 08/02/2021 20:21

Another vote for Gower Cottage. Out of this world good!

SardineJam · 08/02/2021 20:24

hettyskitchen.com/ she was featured on BBC news at the beginning of lockdown, if youre local you can collect or she posts, great website and customer service

Ragwort · 08/02/2021 20:27

Wow Sardine thank you for that, I am not too far away, I can see an 'Essential journey' coming on Blush.

Conundrumofsorts · 08/02/2021 20:27

Is this a planted advert for Gower cottage? The latest reviews aren’t even that good.

Conundrumofsorts · 08/02/2021 20:29

Maybe I am getting too cynical in my old age but

Can I recommend lotusandloaf.com/collections/allproducts

Local to me and delicious. She also makes the most stunning cakes.

Trunkysbun · 08/02/2021 20:34

Someone sent us a mixed tray bake from 'Ginger bakers' in Kendal, there were brownies and blondies included - oh my, they were amazing! They were that nice we ordered a huge tray for DS's teachers at Christmas

IstandwithJackieWeaver · 08/02/2021 20:34

And has a number of vegan options.

I've been looking at each suggestion. Some out of stock. Some don't give me a chance to specify a date to be delivered so so far no purchase Sad.

Cat food cakes (cakes made by Cat not for cats)

www.catfoodcakes.com/

I've had a birthday box and a brownie box and both have been delicious!!!

ScrummyDiva2 · 08/02/2021 23:14

Thorough recommend simplycakeco. They do vegan and gluten free and are delicious!

reprehensibleme · 08/02/2021 23:21

Social bite in Scotland - great brownies and great charity.

ScrummyDiva2 · 08/02/2021 23:31

Also used BrooklyBrownieCo for more 'outrageous ' brownies!

TheNationsFavourite · 08/02/2021 23:56

I've been a hobby baker for a while, and been thinking about going into brownies as a sideline. Been sending some out recently to family and friends. (Have a 5* hygiene rating)

Wonder if the interest in them will survive lockdown?

I've never bought handmade cakesthrough the post myself so have never sampled anyone else's!
