Lodger has a ONS in his room

And normally it wouldn’t bother me but he’s already bubbled with his TA at work. I knew something was a miss when I got up at 530 for work and one of the stray cats from out side was asleep on my kitchen chair! Normally he’s so good he lets me know if someone’s staying and he hasn’t had anyone over since this lockdown. Should I say anything I can hear them having a good time or should I just turn the radio up and get ready for work?😃

My cat is in the kitchen.

If he's lovely I'd let it slide and maybe just mention it's not ok due to Covid, but tbh I wouldn't be policing someone's sex life. It would feel creepy even with Covid.

Yeah really weird, and not nearly as entertaining as some posters are claiming. I get things are difficult at the moment but surely it’s not that bad that you’d find this thread amusing?

How are you on MN (that's Mumsnet, btw 😉) for ant length & not know what ONS or TA is? A hefty proportion of the posts are about infidelities & similar, or are school-related.

I thought ONS was a standard acronym for one night stand. (Also of course Office for National Statistics - but surely context will give a clue).

It’s has actually made me feel very got at. I explained my thoughts regarding this potential troll thread - that’s why it got temporarily removed.

Those seem the most logical initials to me for one night stand and teaching assistant. I think it would have been much more confusing if OP had just used arbitrary letters.
