Lodger has a ONS in his room

And normally it wouldn’t bother me but he’s already bubbled with his TA at work. I knew something was a miss when I got up at 530 for work and one of the stray cats from out side was asleep on my kitchen chair! Normally he’s so good he lets me know if someone’s staying and he hasn’t had anyone over since this lockdown. Should I say anything I can hear them having a good time or should I just turn the radio up and get ready for work?😃

Unless you are at high risk of covid, you say nothing. He puts up with the risk of you bringing it home from work. When you get a tenant, you live in a shared house, it’s not yours anymore. If you’re happy enough to take the money then you have to put up with things like this. His life, his decisions.

I bet lots of the posters who are so publicly aghast at a young, healthy, fit, man seeing someone this once, are the kind that “just quickly” pop in to see their parents. Or break the rules in any other way, but it’s justified because it’s not a ONS.

Don't be a spoilsport. Reading about cats, the office for national statistics, the territorial army and handsome lodger's deposits has made my morning. I've snorted six cups of coffee out of my nose, had DH ask what I'm laughing at twice and woken the baby I've laughed so much. And I don't even have a baby.
