He was always known as a very decent bloke when he was in lots of things in the late 90s and kept the fuck away from interviews etc. shes done this to spite him. They could have just have made a joint announcement about splitting and it would have been forgotten in ten minutes.

I think the tweet was a bit embarrassing and poorly judged but I don't blame her for it. A lot of people make stupid mistakes like that when heartbroken.

Unless you've been there - your husband suddenly announcing that he doesn't love you any more and is off - you can not understand the sheer devastation and confusion. Gaslighting is incredibly common in this situation and there's even a "script" that these "runaway husbands" all seem to stick to.

I totally understand where she's coming from and why she posted. I would almost guarantee he's got another woman.

I'm surprised at the number of previous posters who seem to be supporting him over her.

You do realise he's an actor right....he was acting a part....do you usually confuse actors with their real life personas.

I used to know an actor who knew them both, her being a nightmare was his opinion, for what it's worth.

God that would drive me mad. They would both end up El. Plus post confusion as they get older. Seems very peculiar choice to me.

She is obviously hurting terribly TBH. If one partner doesnt want to break up and the other is ready to move on then ,of course they are heartbroken and want to hit out .The children are obviously going to be upset ,and its better not to do anything that may come back on them .Feel sorry for her as she joins many women who dont want to end their marriages ,but she will recover in time as many do and go on to have future RL of her own .

I'm getting pissed off with everything being "gaslighting" and "emotional abuse". Sometimes it's just people not communicating well and not being particularly kind to each because they're getting divorced and things are stressful and they no longer like each other.
Genuine gaslighting and emotional abuse victims are being lumped in with angry people who are confused that things aren't going their way. The general public rightly rolls their eyes, and actual victims don't get believed.

Oh poor Ioan. I am sad things haven't worked out for him. I followed his career very closely until he did what he said he would never do and sold out to Hollywood. I don't know anything about his wife, or who is to blame, but I agree with others who denounce her airing her dirty linen in public. Unnecessary.

I think it is sad that yet more children will have divorced parents. 13 years is not that long for a marriage to last but then celeb marriages rarely last do they.

I didnt see what she w=ote but i wont judge her for being hurt and upset. It's hard to react with w>sdom and dignity when you have been dumped.

Why shouldn’t posters support him? There are two sides to every story. Or do you just automatically assume all men are bad and women are saints?
