Confused

Me and DH are freaking out a bit. At about 10pm we heard the letterbox go while we were watching TV but didn't immediately check it. We've just got up to head to bed and it's a tiny little ziplock bag (like 50p sized tiny) with white lumpy powder in it Hmm

We're going to have to call 111 in the morning arent we? Really freaked and going to struggle to sleep now!

What the actual fuck Confused

Dealer got the wrong address!

zorroinlondon · 25/01/2021 17:23

If you had it and were off your head and getting sick you’d call 111, then get arrested

mapofeasterireland · 25/01/2021 17:23

If your neighbours seem to stay up late having kitchen discos alot.... now you know how they do it.

I very much doubt anyone would ask for it back, but if they do just give it to them.

Jeeperscreepers69 · 25/01/2021 17:23

Why ring 111? Just bin it and move on

CremeEggThief · 25/01/2021 17:26

Ha! Ha! You lucky thing, OP.Grin

maureen17 · 25/01/2021 17:29

haven't read all the post but really! ... just ring the police.

dobbo79 · 25/01/2021 17:31

Just bin it and forget about it xxx

ozymandiusking · 25/01/2021 17:32

I certainly wouldn't contact the police. I wouldn't trust them at all.
Just put it away safely and forget about it. Ifanyone comes knocking and asks for it, just hand it over.

TherapistInATabard · 25/01/2021 17:34

If you can’t be arsed to read the whole thread, at least read the OP’s posts. She rang the police, and they came and collected the drugs.

Placemarking to see if any more show up.

Very middle-class. Not the usual type of children dealers target.

They are clearly missing a trick. Nobody would suspect middle class children.

Maybe consider putting a note outside the door: "This is not the address you are looking for".

Yogalola · 25/01/2021 17:45

If you’ve next door neighbours suppose you could ask if they were expecting a small package otherwise bin it.

297vic · 25/01/2021 17:50

@Yogalola rtft

dorey69 · 25/01/2021 17:51

Bonus. Lockdown freebie 😂 wouldn’t bother with the police, just flush it then you know it’s disposed of properly

Dontpeeonthecat · 25/01/2021 17:53

Pure MDMA is yellow, crystally and looks a bit like popping candy.
Could be speed, if so I wouldn't worry about any comebacks as it's cheap.
If coke its probably only about 40 quid worth, same again, dont worry about comebacks. If all your neighbours look well-to-do and respectable then they can afford to buy more.
Glad you found it before your DS did, well done for handing it in.

Arnold106 · 25/01/2021 17:54

Isn’t it 999 you call the police

Yogalola · 25/01/2021 17:56

What rfft?

BackBoiler · 25/01/2021 18:08

Door to door at that time will be someone professional in their 40s. Probably wife and young kids in bed Wink little bags of coke costs more that you probably think!

amispeakingenglish · 25/01/2021 18:10

I thought of leaving it on the doorstep, but some one else might pick it up, not the person who bought it. I'd keep it a while in case someone calls for it, you don't want to annoy drug dealers or the person whose it is, who paid for it!!

SparklyPyjamas · 25/01/2021 18:15

@StopCryingYourHeartOut

Blimey it's just a little bag of drugs put through the wrong door, any need for the drama really. Just put it to one side and go to bed Confused
LOL exactly this. Rub a bit around your gums if you cant feel your mouth after 30 seconds you and hubby are in for a good night. Put the kids to bed, grab a few bottles of prosecco and rack them up.
Lynne63 · 25/01/2021 18:22

Or just won't care 🤷

SootBusters · 25/01/2021 18:26

Personally call 101, they could take finger prints and forensically examine the contents. If a stranger came knocking at my door asking for it back. I'd say I thought it might be dangerous, like anthrax, so I handed it to the police. Or better still; "I thought it was a neighbour returning some sugar I lent them the other day, so I tipped in in the sugar caddy. What is it? ""It's Coke" "ah that's explains why I was running around the garden naked at 2am, with my arms outstretched, singing the dambusters theme tune!"😆😆😆

Rtft the police have been and taken it.
RootyT00t · 25/01/2021 18:28

Hopefully it turns out to be sugar wee Jeannie had left for you!

I know we will get 24 posts of what to do with it even though the police have it but I can't honestly believe anyone is telling you to keep it in your house!

CatLandlady · 25/01/2021 18:32

Sell it. Make a bit of cash!

Carjo29 · 25/01/2021 18:32

Someone who I was friends with decided to get high in my bathroom after a night out. Needless to say when I realised what she was doing I stoped her. She was totally incoherent so I made sure she got home to her boyfriend ok. Then went back to bathroom released she had left her small bag of white powder. In the morning I asked advise from my neighbour who is police. He advised to put in a bag of bleach, being very careful to not touch or inhale the powder (use latex/rubber gloves) then put out with the rubbish
