Rolo eggs (same size as a creme egg)
Galaxy chocolate when it was harder and foil wrapped
Little Muller (I think) sponge cakes with custard
Heinz baked bean and sausage pizza

TheChippendenSpook · 17/01/2021 17:49

Oh and Robinson's full sugar orange squash and
Orange C-vit

LickEmbysmiling · 17/01/2021 17:49

Markies used to do ready made chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and stuff like that, very tasty, more sophisticated than current offering and very good value

Lancome did an amazing fountain, way better than Double wear maclet eclat.

Mrsbrownsgargoyle · 17/01/2021 17:50

Coffee walnut whips with an actual walnut on.

Cream silk hair conditioner. Nothing made my hair softer before or since

milliememum · 17/01/2021 17:52

Knorr Mexican fajita sizzle and stir

cautiouscovidity · 17/01/2021 17:52

@coldwarenigma

Toast Toppers!!!!
"Sick on toast" as we used to call them. Tasted better than they looked 😂
cautiouscovidity · 17/01/2021 17:54

@sadpapercourtesan

Can't remember which supermarket they were from, but my mum used to buy these French-style set yoghurts which were amazing. My brother and I used to fight over the kumquat and lychee one.
I think Tesco (or maybe Sainsbury's). I remember these too from the late 80s / early 90s - lots of exotic flavours!
BikeRunSki · 17/01/2021 17:55

Quorn fake chicken and mushroom pies

RoseLavenderBlue · 17/01/2021 17:56

I used to work in a hotel restaurant and one of the desserts we had came in frozen and was as follows: macaron type base, a bit crunchy and squidgy, with a creamy filling/topping and on the top was a chocolate and caramel swirl pattern (a bit like it had been done with a Spirograph!) with nuts. I discovered it in M & S once. Never seen again. If anyone knows of anything similar, please let me know!

samlovesdilys · 17/01/2021 17:57

Sarah Lee danish...it was frozen and totally delicious...got me through sixth form traumas on a weekly basis!!!

Romancer · 17/01/2021 17:58

Ahh! Mississippi Mud Pie yoghurts, wonderful!!
and new Berry Fruits and Black Magic chocolates for Christmas afternoon playing with the Escalado. (Which need not be resurrected).

cautiouscovidity · 17/01/2021 17:58

Any soft drinks in 'full sugar varieties': Ribena, Lucozade, Capri Sun etc. I don't want us consuming crappy sweeteners thank you.
We very rarely have squash or soft drinks and so are quite capable of regulating our sugar intake ourselves by having a proper sweet drink when poorly and needing the energy now and again.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 17/01/2021 18:00

Bovril crisps as I always say on these threads in case food companies go looking. Marmite crisps are nice but not the same

Holothane · 17/01/2021 18:01

Toast toppers I loved them.

cookiemonster5 · 17/01/2021 18:01

Cremola foam has been readily available for a few years now.

ChrissyPlummer · 17/01/2021 18:02

All the drinks that are now stuffed full of sweetener - bring back the full sugar versions!

Morning Burst (or something like that) porridge in strawberry & cream flavour. You can get original and golden syrup in pound shops but the strawberry disappeared without a trace.

M & S yoghurt gums, loved these.

M & S Deltas.

Benefit Playstix - the best stick foundation I’ve used, so of course they discontinued it.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 17/01/2021 18:02

Vidal sassoon shampoo and conditioner in the brown bottles, smelt like almonds and was just lovely.
Mint cracknell,
Rowntrees butterscotch gums, like fruit gums but buttery butterscotch,
Aztec bars,
Jolly bars,
M&s lamb curry, used to love it but sadly the one i used to buy disappeared years ago and nothing has ever matched it.

SirVixofVixHall · 17/01/2021 18:04

Also yes to Ski hazelnut yoghurt. So delicious.

StarFriend · 17/01/2021 18:05

I came on to say Spira

I'd also want to bring back crisps I remember from the early - mid 80s called "tubes"
