Pay with Dict8

Good Morning all Dict8 ladies

I once had another specialty added. Whole clinics were dictated on each task and all the tasks visible in the list were the same and they weren't shifting because the dictation quality was so poor - sound, speech, accents everything and it they were blocking my other specialties so I had to ask for that particular specialty to be removed. As danblack87 says though, it's worth a try as you might just get something good (rare yes, but worth a gamble, and it can be removed if rubbish).

I have to say, today has been terrible, plenty of work but just awful

I haven't worked today as I am rather more than a little poorly. Just keep checking in to make sure I am alive!!

Not virus related. Had grand-daughter Monday and Tuesday who was 'snotty; with cold and temperature [38.6] (mum had to go to work). Mum now has it, her partner and me . Grand-daughter had to go Saturday for a COVID swab at hospital but results came back as negative for COVID in less than 24 hours!!!

So, what with everything I have not worked at all this week!!

@danblack87 shame you are feeling grotty and not able to work but at least it is not COVID, so that is something.

My friend has just said she is booked for her first vaccine on Saturday, she is not a key worker and has no health issues, confusing really as we live meters away from each other and she is ten years younger than me 🤔

@danblack87 - it's Friday, so after today you can rest over the weekend, a few dictations permitting, if you feel like doing any work.

@danblack87 I had a cold soon after Christmas and also caught it off a grandchild !! 🤧 lasts a few days or so, makes you feel a bit rough doesn't it, hope you feel better soon though.

I didn't have a bad week this week surprisingly !!!

@danblack87 Not a bad day thanks, not too busy, but not in the mood.....Trying to plan a diet in my head as need to lose a couple of stone.....any tips off anyone would be thankfully received

feeling a bit chilly again today, hands not too bad but thinking about putting on a hat. Reminds me of working in a portacabin with a tiny heater. Not much work today with DICT8 and currently 0 with Tpro. However, it could be worse - could have to get the bus into work and stand outside in the freezing cold hoping that one would turn up soon!

@Gally123 - I agree entirely about not going out and waiting for buses - still have no hot water ... it is a nightmare ... enjoyed watching snow fall outside my window whilst waiting desperately for a task to come through .

@danblack87 - I am sorry that you still have no hot water, that is a real pain, boiling kettles etc for everything. BBC forecast heavy snow for us today, but as usual they were wrong. No snow so far, but it is very cold. Should be a bit better Thursday...I did double shopping last weekend so I did not have to go out but I will need to on Saturday and it might snow then.

Any idea when your hot water might be fixed? Your boiler breakdown was awhile ago now.

@Chrissols: I have never tried to diet so I can't help there. My weight can go anywhere between 8 and 9.5 stone .. I am at my heaviest right now ... Just waiting for 'salad summer!

@Gally123: Been snowing steadily all day. MY friend is now on the case; It has been over 2 weeks since I had hot water. Keep getting cut off the repairs line. Called at weekend but it was a 24 hours out-of-hours service. Apparently I do not qualify for that category as I do not need to bathe for medical reasons ?! Please you are having a joke. I have been trying everything (Housing manager, e-mails, complaints report - NOTHING). Cockwombles.

@danblack87 oh my goodness, you are so lucky never having had to diet, I am always struggling with my weight....the only snag to working from home as was always running here, there, and everywhere when working in the hospital.
