Kitten was a pest while I was trying to work. Now I've finished, he's holed up in his cat cave.

Thank you, MissConductUS, my doctor has adopted a watch and wait approach. Mercifully I had some strong co-codamol tablets (prescribed for my shoulder but I've had them before for gallbladder pain), so I just had to have those.

Hope you soon feel better yogaposer. Never had gallstones but have heard about them from my sister. Sound awful.
I was reading a magazine passed on by my SIL. It has an article about cosy pubs to stay in for walking holidays - there are Durham Dales. Who knew?! (Probably everyone but me )

Good, this thread is absolutely mad for cat photos.

I've just found two on my phone that have not previously been shared. In the first, I'm getting a dirty look for interrupting a sun nap and in the second I've found a cat trying to use my computer.

DH has had a shave. He was talking to DS2 when I walked in and said 'ooh, face'. He said that DS2 hadn't even noticed. I replied that it was amazing what people you live with don't notice. He looked at me quizzically and said 'why, what have you done?'.

Today my hair is in a high ponytail that only just reaches my neck. Prior to the cut, it would have reached the middle of my back. I had it down earlier too.

@MadKittenWoman Merlin is adorable. He also looks a bit annoyed in that very first picture. No doubt he was plotting something.

DS has been pacing outside my room again and I asked him why and he said because boredom. I wish there was more we could offer him but its a very strict lockdown and he's particular with activities at the best of times and his favourite activity is normally doing nothing so its worrying even he is bored. He won't exercise at all which is the one allowed thing. I may ask him if he wants to take some veg to the zoo animals.

I had a nap this afternoon / evening. We are going to have a hot chocolate soon. DH is playing the piano and has been for a few hours.

I have been in work - things are getting better with regards to you know what.

He’s a beauty Madkitten.

This is Sodding, though he’s a little bigger now and working on his first neighbourhood ASBO. He got stuck outside this morning due to wearing the batteries in his chip-operated cat flap out. It said in the product handbook they’d last a year. Not even 5 months!

Sodding seems to be around the same age as my two, I think. They were born at the end of March 20 and came to me at the end of May.

We're apparently going to get socked with 6-8 inches of snow between now and 5pm tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to the car-clearing and the trek to work and especially not looking forward to the car-clearing and trek home again. It's coming down fast right now, and it looks very pretty.

Beautiful cats and kittens on here.

Just checked met office and we only have rain no snow, it's 3° at present but will get warmer by this evening. I want my breakfast so am going downstairs soon.

We have -1C at present but 4C by end of day.
