What random things do you like to watch on YouTube?

With all the time spent indoors this year I've really got into a few things on YouTube that pass the time in quite a relaxing way...

It got me thinking about what else might be on there that I haven't even discovered yet.

What random stuff are you into watching on YouTube?

Mine are:

• A Canadian guy who runs an antique store and who occasionally buys hoarder houses and clears them out while looking for antiques and vintage finds

• A series about a British family doing up a French chateau (they do it very in keeping with its original style)

• A woman who goes mudlarking on the banks of the Thames, you go along with her to see what she finds

TheTimTracker - although Corona has meant they go a lot less places and I don't care for the home vlogs

AdamTheWoo - also suffered a little from Covid stopping some of his antics.

I said to DH yesterday that it makes me want to move to Edmonton to have him as my neighbour as he seems like such a sweet guy and I loved the episodes buying Hans a house!

Got a bit obsessed watching a lady in China living with her grandma who makes everything from scratch. From growing veggies in her garden to cutting bamboo to make a table. Just mesmerising.

I like 'The And/Skin Deep' videos. Two people - usually couples but sometimes siblings or parents and children discussing their relationship by asking each other deep questions.

I also watch a lot of This Country and Extras clips and compilations.

Yes! I just came across her the other day and loved it. She never talks about her makeup, she just does it while telling a true crime story. We end up watching a lot of shite but the best of the shite is Ozzy Man Reviews, he's a good laugh. DH watches fortnite gamers like Lachlan and Fresh. DS watches clayclaim, a Swedish dude who makes extremely detailed replicas out of fimo clay. Also dash cam videos.

Yes and the before he helped a man called Adam to stop being homeless and back to his family in another part of Canada.

I agree he seems very friendly and always wants the best for his family and friends.

I'm a sucker for animal rescue videos. I like Hope for Paws particularly. Also Brad Mondo

Demolitions. High rise flats, chimneys, cooling towers.... I love how they just crumple and the landscape’s changed.

I watch videos of a red panda called Pabu who is very good at pouncing.

Cold process soap making.

I'm a big fan of Foxes Afloat who are a couple who live aboard a narrow boat.

I like watching wood working/turning.

Resin pouring.

Historical fashion and diy videos.

Shoe unboxings etc

Pretty much anything by PrettyPastelPlease.

I have a wide and varied taste in YouTube videos.

Oh! Also Nat's what I reckon and steady craftin. Love those two!

Videos where this guy makes amazing dog houses with bridges and moats outside. He digs them all out by hand, its called Wilderness TV i think. DD also likes watching videos of hamsters going through elaborate houses that people have made out of cardboard I believe its called The Secret Life of my Hamster!
