Amazing TV shows cancelled after one season

What TV shows have you absolutely loved that have been cancelled after one season. Loads for me but 3 that stand out are

Flashforward
Away (just heard this has been cancelled which has prompted this thread)

Forever. Partly because I just fancy the pants off Ioan Gruffudd. But I also loved the chemistry between Henry and Jo. Abe was such a sweetie too.

Number 1 ladies detective agency......ended on a bit of a cliff hanger too. I loved that series!!

I realise I'm going against the grain here but it will forever piss me off that only one series of The Real Housewives of Aukland was made!

Those bitches were literally insane & I needed MORE!!!!

I second the poster who wrote about Ultraviolet, it was original and intriguing.
Also enjoyed the Crimson Field, it could well have gone on for longer, i'm sure there are lots of good storylines about nurses in WW1.

A 2015 comedy drama called Not Safe for Work, about civil servants relocated to a bleak trading estate somewhere in the Midlands, was funny and sexy and touching. With Zawe Ashton and Sacha Dhawan, who were both excellent.

Another vote for Quacks. It was really funny. Similar vein to Ghosts. Really wish it had more exposure.

Yes Grenlei! Ultraviolet was fabulous.

Not sure if these count because they each had two series but I am forever fummin' at Channel 4 for cancelling Utopia. It was wonderful (but dark - very dark - that scene with the spoon ).

And Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency was so much fun. I totally forgave it for not being anything like the Douglas Adams novels, because it was absolutely insane and diverged so completely that it didn't matter.

Hard sun on BBC.. bloody annoyed l never found out what hard sun was. Also l can't remember name but a BBC series about people living on mars....seems to be a BBC theme here
