What TV shows have you absolutely loved that have been cancelled after one season. Loads for me but 3 that stand out are

Ringer
Flashforward
Away (just heard this has been cancelled which has prompted this thread)

Funny how the series I mentioned in here has just popped up as a 'must buy' box set on Amazon ConfusedHmm

Deathraystare · 30/12/2020 13:33

I agree with Flash Forward and Invasion.

InglouriousBasterd · 30/12/2020 13:36

Another vote for Flashforward here

Also, went beyond one season, but the House of Elliott - it was so unfinished!

Agree with a lot if these, especially The Passage, Alcatraz and Mindhunter (fingers crossed its temporary pause)

Also a series called Vegas about the Mafia involvement in the first casinos which had Dennis Quaid and Trinity from the Matrix in it...not sure if it was a single season but I was gutted when it was cancelled.

mrwalkensir · 31/12/2020 19:32

sometimes they're cancelled due to people having other jobs? Wasn't The High Life (wonderful) nobbled by Alan Cummings hitting the big time...

Bellaphant · 31/12/2020 20:31

The living and the dead, eternal law, quacks and the ambassadors were great and like...it feels like noone watched them? Same with not safe for work, which had a great cast!

Bellaphant · 31/12/2020 20:35

@InterfectoremVulpes

If you don't mind subtitles it's still happening in ..the Netherlands? Wie is de mol! You can find it on YouTube (all Dutch celebrities but it's great)

Another vote for Alcatraz.

One from about 15 years ago called ‘Rescue Me’ with Sally Phillips as a magazine editor who’s married to a doctor. She had an affair and it was about whether they were going to get back together. Only had 1 series on BBC 1 on Sunday evenings and never got a resolution.

The BBC made a series called Servants in the early 2000s. I loved it at the time.
